Get Odin's Spear Early Game - Latest Version 6.30 (Patch 1.5.3)!! Step By Step Guide - AC VALHALLA

- Hello folks! Very good news! We are still able to glitch/get the Odin's Spear (Gungnir) Early game on the latest version 6.30 (Patch 1.5.3)! Confirmed works on 1.6.0!
No fishing glitch is needed this time to perform the glitch!
The original idea for this glitch is from Pandão Star (link to his channel below). A big thank you for him to share his method to get this spear even on the latest version of the game. The tricky part is to get out from the last section - The Small Cavern. After research for couple of hours I think I manage to consistently glitch out from the last section and onto the Odin's Spear chamber with high success rate. I did not use the Feign Death ability as shown by Pandão Star to climb out the last section. Basically I have not test using Feign Death to glitch.
There are basically four sections/areas:
1) The Chasm
2) The Bridge
3) The Big Boulder
4) The Small Cavern

Briefly the steps at each section:
Section 1 - The Chasm
Remove both hand weapons so you can use your hidden blade.
Drop down below the chasm, and go towards the left end side of the chasm. Try face North East and use hidden blade to push Eivor down below small ditch. While keeping North East direction, move left stick forward to try guide Eivor slide to the ground below.
Section 2 - The Bridge
This is the easy part, just climb sideways until you see a bridge like structure below you. Climb down as much as you can, then just drop down. Cross the bridge structure and you will come to an area where you will see the Glowing White Triangle. (those who have followed my earlier guide will be familiar with this area) 😁
Section 3 - The Big Boulder
From the glowing white triangle, climb the next bridge like structure and follow the path until you see a big boulder (left side of the structure). Climb down this big boulder. You will see a small gap below this big boulder. If you crouch, you should be able to squeeze in.
To glitch:
1 - Squeeze in to this small gap, try crouch. You want to stay close to the right end of this small gap but not too far right end where you will end up climbing the big boulder if you press jump.
2 - When you ready, push left analog stick forward (walk forward) while you keep pressing the jump button (X button on PS4)
If you on right spot, you will see yourself climb into the next section - The Small Cavern
Section 4 - The Small Cavern
Once you get into this area, you will notice there is a big boulder on your left and a sloping like structure /ramp on your right.
To glitch:
1 - Stand near/just next to this sloping like structure.
2 - Point your camera downwards (to be able to climb invisible wall faster)
3 - Push Eivor towards the wall (left analog stick), while press jump repeatedly (X button) - do this motion along the wall in front of you.
4 - Once you have done step 3 until halfway point before reach the big boulder, repeat the "push Eivor forward to wall while press jump repeatedly" motion along the wall but this time you are moving back towards the sloping structure.
5 - Repeat step 3 & 4 i.e. moving along the wall left to right and vice versa while trying to climb (with camera pointing downwards at same time)
6 - If done correctly, you will see Eivor climbed an invisible wall. Now try to climb downwards. Unable to climb? Likely this is the wrong wall! Drop down and repeat step 2 to 5 until you climbed another invisible wall.
If you are on the correct invisible wall section, you should be able to climb downwards smoothly onto the last area - the Odin's Spear chamber!
*In my video I did mention try to climb sideways when you are at this invisible wall towards the sloping structure before attempt to climb downwards. Though my 2 attempts I did not really done this but was able to glitch out to Odin Spear's chamber simply by climbing down once I see Eivor on the invisible wall. You may try it if you unable to get out the last section by climbing down.

@@keanu234 Yes that could happen if u go too far to the edge at The Chasm. Try a little to the right.

Just finished as of 1.6.1 (September 2022) and here are some tips, on the first cavern glitch, if you have trouble actually getting in to the cavern even after sliding down the wall, equip a weapon while sliding and use light attacks and you will glitch into the cavern much easier. On the big boulder, turn on quality graphics in settings, it makes a huge difference. In small cavern, be patient. It may take a while but everytime you climb up the invisible wall, just hold your stick down, and to the right and eventually you will glitch into the chamber where you can get the spear. Hope this helped.

I can't seem to get into the right cavern with 1.6.1 (october 26th 2022) either i get into a smaller cavern where i can climb up a couple rocks but not where else. and another room, where i can see the spear, but there are no slopes like the one on the video. been at it for 4 days now lol
@@huffy204 On your left is a squarish boulder that has small gaps u can slot in if u crouch, the sloping rock is on your right side.

i just got to the right cavern, try limiting your FPS to 30fps before the boulder, and its quite easy actually, did some trial and error at 60fps and 30fps, and i kept going into the right cavern at 30fps.

After a little over an hour I got this! I'm on 1.6.3. Thanks for the helpful guide and follow up videos! It helped to put my framerate at 30FPS on PC.

Thanks so much! Worked today, 1.60 8/20/22....struggled a lil at first step ( kept falling and sliding & glitch dying lol 🤣🤣) then after that getting to the " big boulder" was very easy all thanks to your very attention to detail with taking pics in photo mode ( making the path that much easier) . Once just shy of small cavern it didnt take too long to jump thru the wall just under the rock above your head and "glitch" jump into the small cavern. Once inside it took me only 8 min to climb out into the chamber.
If anyone else is having trouble with small cavern just be patient. Walk all the way to left of room ( opposite of large rock hanging down from right) and when you do you just jump to the right part of the room ( facing a thin rock going upwards) and keep jumping until eivor is hanging from a "wall" ( invisible one lol) at this point if you cant move up/down/left/ right then drop down and keep jumping until you hang from wall again.
The moment you are hanging from wall and CAN move, go to left and down gradually...thats when you come out on other side ( you can also see the chamber as you move to left then down)

Awesome. Working as of 25/11/2022. Patch 1.6.1. PS5. Make sure to select the quality graphic settings. First 3 steps are easy. Invisible wall section is hard. After grabbing the invisible wall make sure to climb down towards the spear. All the best . Took me 2 hours. Thanks.

Got it! (Aug 1st, 2022). That last glitch in small cavern was tricky but I got lucky after about 20 mins and finally got through the wall to get the spear. Make sure you save alot!

Though I got it twice, but to be consistently to glitch all the 4 sections shown in my video is pretty hard. Every time its different. No fix formula yet. The old fishing glitch was much more specific and easy to replicate.

Use feign of death in the small cavern between the boulder and structure such that your death fall on the other side into the cave

Having a real hard time doing it as the video instructs to get into the small cave as of today. I jump and end up inside the big boulder itself then fall to my death. Not sure when to use feign death and what not or even how to use it.

Thanks a lot for the help. Turns out if you try to glitch into the small cavern, there are actually two other caverns you can glitch into. It messed me up but when I got into the right one, I got the spear

After 3-4 hours of trying i can vouch it does work,i play on Ps5 and was struggling mostly with wall 2 other then that everything went smoothly if your playing on console i highly suggest turning on image quality on for this glitch.Anyways thx alot for the help man

19 june 2023 i finally got it!!!! When hanging inthe invincible wall inside the small cavern just rotate camera many times till you see another blue hallway and your out!!

Just worked for me July 2022. Last invisible wall was very hard. I found that I focussed on the corner spamming x. Then when I got up on to the invisible wall I kept climbing right and panning camera around. When you notice a different cavern (the spear cavern) glitching into a specific viewing angle then climb down into the spear chamber .. I spent about 15 minutes jumping around that last little corner

If anyone has the Feign Death ability then use it at the small cavern part when you try to climb up, hug the wall and use it, this saved me a lot of time.

So you mean while I stand between the crack between n - w or n and e so the odins room is to the nw side I just use faith dead while standing there or do I have to jump as I do it? Possible you can show in a video cuz Im stuck there between :)

Man, patch 1.7.0, i got glicthed into 3 different caverns. One was some weird place where i couldnt do anything, then 2nd was the small cave in your smaller video. 3rd and finally i glicthed into this area in this video. Did the slope wall thing and finally climbed out! Took me almost 2 hours or more. Man. That was pissing off. But still works! Thank you!!
1.6.0 and still work I just got mines kind of confusing at first when I first did it I just saw glitchy mountains there are actually two barriers you gotta get pass so I hadda try again, directions simple, on par and clear this is the best video BY Far 💯 and appreciate it for that

This worked for me 18 march 2024 patch 1.7.0 on ps5, and It helped to switch from framerate to quality settings to get into small cavern. Also happend to glitch in to wrong cabin 10 times before I got it right (looked for the small round shape that comes out from the left and to the steeping side on the right!

I'm seriously considering starting over. I'm on level 50 and I don't know if I'll have the chance to go back to Norway to attempt this glitch. The first time I tried, I got that wall that blocked me.
It works i did it in about 3 hours on Xbox although the last part i did different and it still worked thx brotha for help me out

Works as of 1.7.0 - Took me 4 hours, and eventually I used the small cavern glitch. Remember to hug that wall, pan camera down spam that Parkour Up (A on Xbox Controller) button. (There is no jump button, so closest thing was Dodge which got me confused for a sec)

Works on PS5 patch (1.7.0) it took my an hour from start to finish. I struggled the most on the second wall breach into the cavern. I highly recommend changing the in game Graphic Mode to “Quality” I breached the wall first time after I changed it. Thank you for the video. I’m level 6 and ready to have some fun
For the last invisible wall bit you can just use feign death ability easily glitch through the wall

Yes! Can confirm! I just did it yesterday on 8/22/22. 1.6.0. The small cavern only took 8 min or so to come out on otherside. I actually thought the last part was pretty easy once you could move in any direction once hanging from invisible wall. I also watched many vids on it, and kept pluggin away.
The tricky part was actually the 1st part in the chasm lol I would use hidden blade and start to slide forward and then keep "glitch falling" in mid air dying after 8 seconds or so lol took about 20 min for me to enter thru the side of the mountain, but once I did ( thanks to vid) was very smooth sailing to the "big boulder" just outside the small cavern.
Still cant believe this is in the game lol I have been playing videogames since the 80's and this "glitch" feels very deliberate, like a dev left it there on purpose. Props to all who found out about it. I havent used a glitch in a game in awhile like this, was fun!

When playing on console, set visuals to quality mode, it makes it much easier. I guess we are trying to gap thru the holes before the game renders them, thus making your game lag on purpose helps.
Got this spear in 5 mins after changing it while being stuck at the second last chamber

Finally after 2 fkin days i entered the right cavern after trying for like 100 time to enter the cavern from big boulder. And finally i got the Spear. Thanks man Every single second was worth it. ❤️

Got it as of Jan 27, 2024 one of the best guide since the details it gives are good. My only advice is when you’re in the last small cavern I would say keep your camera pointing up meaning you’re seeing from below Eivor (his feet) and then keep walking towards the slope while spam jumping when I started doing that it got easier to grab the ledge. Also when you get on the ledge keep moving down and to the right not the left since If you go to the left you will get stuck in another rock and die

Please help. Im at the wall but i cant climb down. I can see the chamber thruogh the walls, and can climb sideways and down, but it doesnt take me to the chamber with the spear
