Really love these in depth trip reports. I reckon AA’s 787 must be the best transatlantic product out there in any class.
Paul's Trip Reports I think both Air New Zealand and Aeroflot have a better product with their 777 300er. I’ve found the 787 to be noisy and those windows are like sitting next to an open oven. Not at all impressed
I love AA FLT90! Leave Chicago in the morning, arrive in London at night, get some much needed rest and start the new day completely relaxed. Due to the early departure there’s not really enough time for people to connect so flt90 is typically a light load and you can stretch out. It’s very convenient and I wish more airlines did the same. Interesting to note that flt90 used to be a 777. Thanks for the great video!

I flew with this airline and same exact plane, same exact flight to London Heathrow from ORD and unfortunately the experience was not great. I dont really understand why US airlines dont make the effort to be at least good enough as most of the European ones. I felt really cramped, especially the seat width. I just felt like everyone in economy wasn't fitting well into their seats. Seats were small, like you could see the head of all passengers. the cabin attendants were bumping into my shoulder/head and knees as they walked through the aisles lol.
I think food is a deal breaker for me personally. Swiss / Lufthansa / Air France economy definitely have better food than AA. The level of food AA provided honestly shocked me as I've never tasted anything so bad in-flight.
You've clearly put a lot of time into producing this video. The soundtrack was great. However, a trip report should provide a load of details about the experience on the airline. How was check-in? Was the staff friendly/helpful? What IFE was provided (was there a fee)? In addition to live tv how many movies, games, tv shows, music choices were available? What was the cabin crew like? How many meal and beverage services were there? What were the entree choices? How was the food (quantity & quality)? What made flying the 787 different from regular a/c? Was the cabin clean? Were lavs modern, clean, well stocked? How did the overall experience on AA compare with other airlines? Would you recommend AA transatlantic & AA Main Cabin Extra? Etc, etc, etc.

it's a very cool flight timing-wise; not jetlag; you can go straight to your home or hotel after landing at Heathrow
