  • Me and my buddies took a trip out to Alabama Hills just outside of Lone Pine, CA. We camped and had an all around great time. We also made a quick stop at Reward Mine and drove our Jeeps into the mountain! (Episode 8 - 3/29/21)

    Great video been to Alabama hills twice and I know exactly where that spot is but haven't gone to Reward mine yet. Will have to add it to my list. Also I noticed your buddy said you can't fit a 37 where the spare goes? I'll find out next week. I've been running on 37's for 7 months now I didn't buy a spare when I mounted them. But I don't think I want to continue pushing my luck on the trails without a spare. I think you can fit one if you set the psi to 10lbs. I have a power tank so airing up quickly for me is not a problem. I'll let you know.

    4:55 "Others see a chance for solitude, serenity, leaving the world behind..." That's what I was trying to do, photographing sunrise on the Sierra, at least half a mile from the next nearest person. Then some dude pulls up and buzzes me with his drone, breaking the solitude and serenity. Yes, drones provide amazing imagery, but they also adversely impact the experience for others.

    • @TrailNewbie
      @TrailNewbie  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Very excellent point. Those who fly recreationally in public lands and approved areas need to be cognizant of others 100%! My view: drones are here to stay and give us such an incredible perspective that would be impossible otherwise see of these magnificent locations. However, respectful flying is key. I try to do my best in that category when we are out on the trail. And your comment is a good reminder of that for me personally - thank you for reaching out on this topic.
