    Next time you're in the Alabama Hills area, try the Alabama Hills Cafe in downtown. Phenomenal! Also, if you're looking for a hotel/motel to rejuvenate in, the Dow Villa is great too. We were there not too long after you, at the end of January 2023. After 8 days in tents, the Dow Villa Motel was a welcome change!

    Awesome content keep it up. Next time you go DV try staying away from the Furnace Creek area and go dispersed. DV is a magical place

    Nice video and love the commentary. I also ride a bike and when passing you should give 3 feet so even if they rode single file you could not safely pass without crossing into the other lane as the road was narrow with no bike lane. If single file it would have been a much longer train making it more difficult to pass. Anyway keep the videos going. Thanks.

      @ggg4runner  ปีที่แล้ว

      No I get all that, but what I didn't capture on video in time was them occupying both lanes of traffic to take pics of each other while in a passing lane area for about a mile. That was the frustrating part that I should've probably made more clear. Thank you for watching!

    I went there with some friends before I started my channel. Wish I had filmed it. After that we went to Coyote Flats. 🤙

    Another great video Roger! Some crazy mountains for sure. And we have multi-million dollar bike paths in the Northeast (Rails to trails) and yet the cyclist rather ride in the middle of the street. I feel your frustration. I'm all for riding, but at least stay to the right, single file when cars are approaching and maybe even try out all those dedicated paths us taxpayers had to build for y'all!! Safe travels my friend

    • @ggg4runner
      @ggg4runner  ปีที่แล้ว

      It happens and that frustration was short lived-long enough to make it into the video though 😅 Thanks for watching and happy trails!

    Awesome video yet again my man. Looking to get into overlanding next year in my 16 Silverado with my girlfriend and 2 dogs. Looking into some different camper shell designs and would like to maybe hook it up with a roof-rack and 360 awning. The plan is to head to Alaska (I lived in Fairbanks for 4 yrs) along the Dalton Highway and work our way down south through Oregon, Cali and shoot back East visiting a bunch of different sites.
    Super pumped to get everything going, but there is so much preparation and dry running to be done!
    Thanks again for such a dope channel, keep up the good work and just know I'm bingin' these videos atm😂

      @ggg4runner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't know about all that but I appreciate the praise! That sounds like a helluva epic journey brother and a camper would be the way to go for an endeavor like that. There are so may great camper options out there nowadays. I wish you the best in prepping for and going on that adventure! Thank you for watching and commenting again!

    I’m assuming you are in So. Cal., so I’m just wondering why it took 8 hours. Long dirt road? I have not been, but I definitely want to go now. Another great video, love how you film and narrate.

    Nice vids, fellow 3rd gen owner myself that absolutely loves Death Valley. FYI though, bikes can share lanes by law and it's probably easier for cars to go around vs having them pull over each time for every car. And besides, it's not like we're in a rush when were out there, right? 😊

    • @ggg4runner
      @ggg4runner  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yup, I am all for sharing the road. The part I didn't catch on video in time was them taking up both lanes, in a passing lane area, to take photos of each other for about a mile. That was the frustrating part. Thank you for watching! And, 👊 to a fellow 3rd gen owner.

    Love your style dude. I'm a backpacker by heart, but considering a van for getting around between hikes, also to sleep in some times, might as well take a night in the car instead of hiking into a thunderstorm, right. Great stuff, love your high quality, non-pretensious style. Very enjoyable stuff.

    • @ggg4runner
      @ggg4runner  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you for watching and for commenting. I wish I was un-lazy enough to do backpacking, but yeah, hiking into a thunderstorm doesn’t sound that pleasant. Happy trails and happy holidays!
