If only they cared about keeping actual skate culture alive and well instead of selling out and putting their mediocre product in zumiez so they could dominate the market and screw smaller brands completely. Sell outs who went against everything skateboarding stands for, and barely anyone talks about it.
@@Natharsus so are you saying this youtube channel does not keep actual skate culture alive? one of the only channels that uploads skate content every day?
I won't be skating this park as I'm on the other side of the country, but I still want to say THANK YOU to Austin and the rest of the boys for doing this.
I'm so happy that waller is going from DIY to a legit skate park. you guys did a fantastic job. i gotta get my ass out there and try these new obstacles.
He does seem to work in 'crete so not too surprising. You're dead right though, always nice to see. Even better that kids might go out and DIY to anywhere near to this standard. 👌🏼
I wish they would integrate spots like this in every neighborhood. Just small obstacles that people could just use on their way to school or just skate. It could even be just one thing on a street corner. It would make for great street skating...
Idk what is it between construction work and skateboarding, every one I've worked with in construction site who also skate seems to enjoy working on construction building. They don't slack or cheat on the work.
SOOO Many DIY spots out here in the burbs of illinois wish i could get the crews together and get some stuff setup for the local kids, cops have nothing better to do thoughh and it would straight bust, thank you thrasher for these videos, the atmosphere at this park looks magical
Filling the cinder blocks with unmixed concrete? Then just add water? No need to mix? I'm curious about this, does anyone have experience making cinderblock ledges like this?
PLEASE DO A HISTORY PIECE FOR SHORTYS IN NEWARK NJ. With all the recent FRED GALL love, itd be nice to at least give that place a shoutout. RIP SHORTYS
hey AUSTIN , im at that stage with the whole welding situation! theres just things in life that need welding! i love your pointers on welding , ive bought a £30 welder (guy gave me a free mask Too) and youR so right about the grinding before welding, WEAR PROTECTIVE EYE WEAR D.I.Y'ERS
Austin is the shit!!! Met Frank at the river skatepark in Tulsa he was with Sean Malto and John White i think they were there meeting with Ernie, Ramondetta and TNT but I remember that day was the shit. Frank was cool as hell man I wish I could meet him again.
Keep the diy vids coming!

I won't be skating this park as I'm on the other side of the country, but I still want to say THANK YOU to Austin and the rest of the boys for doing this.
I won't be skating this park as I am on the other side of the world, but damn how I wish to!
Idk why it’s so satisfying to watch DIY spot builds
It was built by skaters for skaters! It's more rewarding versus some random contractor.
I'm so happy that waller is going from DIY to a legit skate park. you guys did a fantastic job. i gotta get my ass out there and try these new obstacles.
Awesome video. I like how they did everything the right way instead of free-handing the curve. Very professional.

These DIY videos are what I'm here for ❤

Kanfoush and co. with the unstoppable hustle. Y'all are legends.
Went from food trucks, to a crusty parking lot, to the best flatground/ledge spot I know. ❤Waller
It's always awesome to see people doing things well. Inspiring.
LOVE THIS, getting older i find building (and watching being built) stuff to skate is just as fun *almost, as skating it itself
Same. I’m about to be 32. Small progress here and there still, but now I’m getting into other aspects of skateboarding
Austin is that dude. Favorite pro these days.
This was really well shot. Bravo
man that ramp to block looks so fun! A little lower and the backside would be a great ledge too
Reminds me of Built to Shred on Fuel TV back in the day. Awesome show

There is a DIY at 205 Hopkins Blvd in Biloxi,Ms. under a bridge. Gulfcoast Skateparks Association does a great job promoting Biloxi DIY.

That park looks fun for someone who grew up skating mostly flat ground. Too bad I haven't been to San Francisco in a really long time.
