I can say personally from growing up skating pittsburgh, of all the people who could have made a career of skating (skill wise) im glad it was austin! The times we skated with him he was always personable, always remembered your name, and just had great vibes! Some the other dudes who hung around him had bad attitudes, were cocky, wouldnt even look your direction unless you were a pro to suck up to, or frequented the shop they all rode for. Most of them fell off which is fine cause they didnt have the people skills to make a career last anyways. Survival of the fittest came out right with austin, perfect ambassador for reppin Pittsburgh, evan smith as well! Also a great dude.

Move to New Zealand we have a huge housing shortage and no covid. Perhaps may harm the pro skating but definitely make a ton of money building/ being a a foreman. Inspirational dude.

Not the cool flavors of the month. I was always confused why this didn’t happen outside of so cal n Santa Cruz. Remember this guy when he was in Pittsburgh area videos. I'm from Akron and his crew were friends with some people in the area. Then years later I saw the name in anti hero videos and ads and was like hell yeah. The funks were super sick wonder what's happened to them
