I subscribed. I'm 6 foot 4 (almost 5 inches tall). I think my "Torso Ratio" is below average for my total height, meaning that my Legs are THE MAIN PROBLEM. I've got some Health Issues and I just turned 40 and although the chair I was using was "comfortable" it was definitely not giving me the support I needed. Your channel has helped me "start the Research Process". NOW I JUST NEED TO FIND SOMEONE CLOSE TO ME IRL WHO HAS THESE CHAIRS ON DISPLAY SO I CAN TRY ONE OUT...
in an environment where aftermarket products leave a lot to be desired, the Atlas headrest is certainly an exception. It's made so well there is no telling it apart from Herman Miller itself. Once it's adjusted just right, it stays in place and is comfortable. I like that minor on the fly adjustments can be made just by applying some pressure and re-configuring, and when doing so, it has a nice smooth movement. - thank you for your channel and work, it was a huge help in finding the right chair and accessories.
You're very welcome, and yes! Agreed! Every time I talk to the guys at Atlas, I always admire their knowledge and geekiness about all things chairs and headrests.
Funny how you just made this review I just bought the logix headrest about 3 weeks ago and hated everything about it. I literally sat in the chair for 2 mins and shipped it back right away. I wish you had this video 3 weeks ago. On top of that there are no pictures anywhere online of the logix headrest showing the front view of the chair with the head rest attached. Only when I had it at the house did I see how bad it looked from the front. On top of that I could not find a comfortable position to have it in. I am 6'1. Thanks for making this video people will appreciate this. Also the return policy on the Logix takes forever and they made me pay for shipping to return the item!!!

lolll yeah...i wanted to be a little more gentle out of respect for the people who bought the OL version with their hard earned money...but the more I tested the OL headrest, the more I found myself really frustrated by it and needed to give everyone a very clear answer!
@@Ahnestly Look, in the environment we live in there is no excuse to NOT do ALL your homework. Bringing a product to compete against Atlas means you better bring your A-Game... The amount of time I put in to picking the Embody over all others was a true epic tale of research, as an engineer I left NO stone unturned! I own 2 Atlas headrests, one for my Aeron for work and one for me Embody at home!
I personally don't use headrests, but I do appreciate knowing which ones work better. Thumbs up!

After buying the headrest for my Aeron from Atlas, I can say I've had _zero_ regrets. I plan on buying an Embody later this year if everything goes well and you can bet that a headrest for it from Atlas is on my mind. Will certainly use your code when the time comes :D

A headrest is definitely not mandatory but it is extremely nice to have in a lot of situations. Plus the Embody looks much more “balanced” when it has the atlas headrest. Makes the chair look so clean and OEM.

Got this about a week ago in Shanghai delivered from US in about a week (the benefit of being a late adopter!). It's just as wonderful as Ahnestly demonstrates, and imo really completes the chair in terms of its looks cos the wide base and skinny back create a slightly odd shape from the front that the headrest really fills out.

About the warranty question: (just a personal story)
I've had something break on my Embody (honestly kinda through bad design on HM's part).
They hesitated not a second to send me a new chair (which i didn't even ask for).
I have high doubts that they would refuse helping a paying customer if your chair got damaged just cause you installed a headrest (i say that because fighting that policy in court is not something most people will undertake)
So i would worry less about the "voided warranty" and more about the actual damage your freaking expensive office chair will get from that headrest.
Your videos were the reason I ended up getting the HM Embody gaming chair and Atlas headrest....love this chair and was able to grab one while they were 20% off this past month...quick question for you, I heard there's a break in period with these chairs - is that true?
Yes there is!!! a huge break in period! I find my HM Embody after months of use to be super comfy
Which atlas fabric is closest to black balance? Or which would look best with it?
I ahnestly hate my Atlas headrest. It never stays in one spot. If I torque TF out of the bolts it doesn't move AS much. But it requires the tool laying around with any adjustment. It's probably the best solution...but it's not a very good one. Also not sure it was worth my waiting 8 months to get it.

This doesn't happen to my atlas embody headrest.
@@jessebaril1752hard to imagine this isn't a fault. I don't have mine fully tightened, though it is mostly tightened, and it won't move when resting my head against it, but will if I push back against it with my head in order to move it.
@@formulaic78that's exactly how mine is set. I actually find it great that I don't have to get up out of the chair to adjust it. Seriously an amazing headrest!

Hey! If you look at all their headrests...they all function the exact same way. I don't have high hopes, but I can take a look once it's out!
i own the atlas headrest, and i cannot get the tension right for simultaneously being able to adjust the headrest to different positions as well as resting my head. if i want to rest my head, i need to use the allen key to tighten the knobs. if i want to adjust the headrest position, i need to use the allen key to loosen and then adjust. is there a secret here that i'm unaware of?
and not to mention, for some reason, my atlas headrest makes a rubbing plastic sound when i adjust it.
I think less is more on the tension screws. Try small turns at a time until you get the tension right between movability and tightness.
I'm not exactly sure what sound yours is making, but I believe plastic is rubbing together as you adjust the headrest up and down.
If the tensioning doesn't work, take a video and send to Atlas. You may have stripped screws or something!

@Ahnestly Thanks! No serious reviewer has picked up on this thing yet, and it just might be the best mid-range ergo chair. It's like, you can see they have cut costs on stuff that is not that important and they deliver where it matters. I am literally dying to know what someone who has tried S tier chairs thinks of it.
Got the atlas headrest on my Haworth fern will most likely get it for my gaming embody as well. I wish atlas had a cut out for the tag that’s the only thing I like about the office logix lol

The office logix headrest really is terrible! From quality to design it's kinda a piece of junk. They even had the audacity to take shots at Atlas headrest on their social media pages about delivery and pre-orders haha. I gladly waited for the Atlas headrest!

I had one…but I was comparing it to a replica eames…and HM did not like that. There was quite the drama because of it (drama on a chair review channel!! Wild!! 🤷)

I'm using Atlas headrest and I liked that it matches the Embody well. For this video, I felt fruastration of the reviewer instead of a neutral comparison review. Maybe can use more neutral words rather than using words like, "cheap" , "barely usable". Use more comparisons and let audience decide if it's cheap or it's usable or not.

The only odd thing about it is the pathetic attempt of slander from Officelogix. Their videoquality is shit, their points are nonsensical, they don't address the issues brought up against them in a believable manner and their presenter looks simultaneously high, sick and like the "slow" kid at school you were told not to make fun of as a kid. That company gives me the creeps...
