I’d like to do one for college and career planning. And scholarships. All the other sites are so stuffy and is more one on one. Would I do a separate site for the digital or put it with college and career planning one on one offers?
So, this is not the main thing I got from your video by any means, but...Buccee's!! We just got one relatively recently in Athens, AL haha! Now that I got that outta my system...Great point about MLMs! I guess to each her own, but I've never understood the hype over them. To this day, never once have I heard anyone like, "Man I really miss those days selling for Avon." 😀 Also, thanks for clarifying what digital products really are (or should be). Fightin' the good fight for us, Jessica!
@@jessicastansberry, thanks for the great tips. I wonder if you could give an advise if I can sell a digital product based on my skills of HTML and CSS? Thanks.
@@ikantdanz Master Resell Rights. You may see reels going around saying “buy this MRR program and just resell it! Making you tons of $$” But they don’t break down the “how to”. This is a piece I hope to implement with my business. The education piece- just like what Jessica does.
This was awesome! Thank you! When you were talking about the mini courses/how to guides to get someone from point A to B, do you have a pricing formula?
Ah, it’s so subjective…b2b will price differently than b2c, different industries will have different rates, etc. I talk through pricing in my course Digi Product School but it’s literally such a loaded question!
I am a bookkeeper, and I have no idea what digital product i could sell. I thought about a budget google sheet or a clickup template for clients to do their own bookkeeping (when they are still trying to do it all). I also really love planning, personal budgeting, homeschool and goal/project planning. I don't think it could sell anything for personal vs business focus where it would fit with my business. Maybe I could do that with my second business where I make journals and notebooks. Any thoughts would be great.
Thanks Jessica. My channels is for busy working mums who want to simplify their life - I'm not sure what type of product to sell 🤷🏾♀️ as it's a fairly broad topic.
Just to be clear.. mrr is definitely not like mom and you can scale because the purpose of most of the courses is to teach you how to make your own digital products and/or courses to sell and how to market them. Being able to sell the course is the bonuses. I understand a lot of people miss that part. But it's room for mrr digital products and regular digital products. You don't have to choose one or the other, you can resell mrr/plr products as well as again non mrr/plr.
I’m a Holistic Medical Aesthetician I’m thinking of creating a mini course guide to clear skin that includes healing through your gut & holistic lifestyle. I don’t have a large audience so I’m thinking of content to create to grow my audience.
And just to be clear, this is apart of what the mrr courses teach. Yes, you can learn it elsewhere like here but I'm just saying this is one of the benefits to the courses that people don't understand. The courses take you through the whole process of digital marketing/products... you don't have to even resell it. But to answer your question... you market it through social media. You can also list it on etsy... I'm not sure what platform your using to host your products so I can't give specific help. But she may answer on this video, if not I'm sure she have a video addressing it.
I'm a wedding videographer and would love a B2C digital product (like the last one you mentioned) since my audience is about 50% wedding pros and 50% couples that arent returning customers
Have you thought about offering packages for their first home or new baby? You could do it as a special “niche” thing for only people who you’ve worked with before. So it doesn’t take you too far away from weddings but a great add on.
Driving me crazy too girl! After 20 yrs in media and marketing seeing people just become “marketers” overnight and claim expertise bc they resell something is just icky and bad for our industry.
I own/operate a dance studio - how would your creative brain apply this? I’ve made some freebies I give to dancers who enroll, like a habit tracker for summer and a checklist of what to pack in their bag when fall session begins. I’m creating a journal for dance teachers with companion for students. I totally put full length classes up on my private TH-cam during Covid lockdown…maybe do something with those?I’ve been super stumped beyond this 😅 Thanks for any ideas! 🎉
Yes, you’re on the right track! You could 10000% sell all of that! You could package up your online classes into a library people can buy, you can sell those freebies, and you could even package it all up to sell to OTHER dance teachers
If any fitness nutritionists out there looking for an idea, I would love a digital download of tried and true quick high protein quick snacks/meals with less than 5 ingredients. Sometimes I over think and they overwhelm myself with all these recipes. Would buy that in a heartbeat. Tag me 😂
I think the people who are just buying it to resell it and not learn from it is ridiculous. I bought it because I’ve been consuming so much about marketing and starting online businesses for YEARS and realized I have a lot of knowledge about it and I’m passionate about it. I have it right now but hoping to create my own soon! Everyone has to start from somewhere!? How did everyone else get started?
Aww see, I knew we had some things in common 🤪...I just bought the same exact Buc-ee's mug 🥰🥰 We just filmed a date night vid at the newest Buc-ee's . Yep, I said date night! That's how we do it in Kentucky lol And this video is music to my ears, so good to hear I must be on the right track with some DPs we got coming up. Woot! Thanks for another awesome and extremely helpful video, Jessica!
What is one question you keep getting from your home buyers, like a prep your home for sale guide or a result you got in your business that can help other fellow agents?
Love it! What would you say is the main difference between a guide vs an ebook- I’m not sure what to market mine as, but like you said it helps bloggers or online business owners go from B to C (30 pages, tips and tricks, worksheets). It seems like a Guide and an Ebook could be the same thing 🤷♀️ thanks!!
I would say a guide would have more interactive elements than an eBook like links to watch videos or go somewhere else, etc. also, from a marketing standpoint, depending on the industry, the word “guide” might sell better than ebook
if you selling Notion templates - can you please share if there is a way to protect them from sharing? lets say you and me are friends and we split the cost and share the link. This is obviously not beneficial for the creator of those templates. Thx
Nothing inherently 😂, I just don’t like it. It’s too hot, it’s too many people, it’s too commercialized, it’s too much like a redneck Vegas and I hate Vegas too

It can be a struggle! It really depends, honestly, and I know that’s not a good answer 😂 market research would be my biggest tip here
