When the Canucks, Leafs, and Habs were worst than the Jets, their stadium were always still pretty full. But I can't really complain since Winnipeg people are poor and can't find jobs or afford in big cities like Vancouver or Toronto. I've been to Winnipeg before. There's nothing to do there other than work, go home, watch some sports, then sleep. Winnipeg is blue collar town. If you had lived there for over 20 years, Downtown is pretty much dead if there is no sports game. No athletes would want to live in Winnipeg there's nothing to do or having to live extremely cold in the winter and extremely hot in the summer. Players only play there if they are forced to be traded to Winnipeg or Winnipeg offers them a huge contract they can't refuse. That's why you see many Manitoba born athletes always ending up moving out of the province. Even when they retire, they don't want to come back to the hell hole of the Winnipeg. When people in Buffalo show more support for their forever losing team then Canadian Jets fan in Winnipeg do for theirs, you have to wonder if Winnipeg really deserve a team...
