Thanks for the detailed review! :D . I didn't even know TAMIYA had this. I was as surprised as you when i saw the batteries it uses, but hey it is a product that was released in Japan in 2004 (a few days prior to XMAS) when these batteries were still used on some products.
M Take note of the DC port polarity, with the outside contact positive and the inside contact negative; I was looking at the 6V adapters on Amazon, and so far they all have the wrong polarity, so they're not usable. I don't know if this is the standard in Japan or whether Tamiya did this to try to make customers buy their AC adapter, but it's a concern.
Very interesting product. Big thanks for showing the light function.
Thanks. Figured since the light is a pretty major function of the workstation, we should probably get it working ;)

Yup. We would highly suggest the AC adapter though. D batteries are sooooo last century :)

Thank you so much
You bet.
It is possible to replace broken glass?
We're sure if you contact Tamiya they might be able to help you with a replacement piece. Swapping it out should be quite easy as well.
I just got one light doesn’t work 😤 $170 later
Contact Tamiya. They’ll take care of you!!!
Useless expensive product. Better to buy something really important.
As we mentioned in the video, it is one of those products that you just might not need, however it does help organize your area if space is limited.
