A good use of those short bits of scraps left over that need a home. It bought back memories of my one overseas trip in 1987 when my sister & I were roped in to take my Great Aunt over to visit England & it was a 25 hour trip from Sydney via Melbourne to Bombay to refuel & then onto London, at least we were flying east the whole way so chasing the darkness over the ocean arriving in Bombay at midnight their time where it was stinking hot at that hour. Coming home was worse as we were facing daylight the whole way but the trip was worth it, I must say & a memory never forgotten with two giant albums eventually created out of all the photos & ephemera that I had collected from the trip. I had kept a daily diary thank goodness as I wasn't introduced to scrapbooking until about 15 years ago so everything was kept in a box in my spare room. 😃
That sounds like quite the adventure Louise. Your trip was way longer than mine, you must have been exhausted! Keeping a daily diary for trips is a great idea for remembering all the little details.

Love this layout with scraps. When you used the flip flap for your tag and cut off the sticky tab, if you cut lower then the remaining pocket would be the depth you wanted for your tag. Love those hidden journal tags. Thanks for a great layout.

I’ll probably use your layouts for inspiration thanks so much,you are so talented . I love all the ladies on your design team.

Loved the flipflap as a pocket idea. Just a thought that popped in my head watching you do it, since it was longer than your tag you could have trimmed a smidgen off the top of the pocket so your tag fit flush against the bottom and didn't fall in at all. Since its hidden it wouldn't have mattered. Just something i thought of watching you that i wanted to share in case it didn't come to mind. But great scraplift of Katy. Both layouts are gorgeous!

When printing your pictures, what size to you typically print? I know it sort of depends on the picture but wondering what is your "go to" size. Love this layout and you have the best speakers! I never have to turn up my volume. Your videos are great.
Thank you for the positive feedback, I do appreciate it! My go to photo sizes are 4x5, 3x4, 4x4 and 3x3. The 4x5’s vary a bit, sometimes they are 4x5.5 depending on the photo composition. Those sizes typically include a white border.
