My little sister died at the age of 9 when I was 13. She was everything to me, I loved her more than anything in this world. A few years later I started working at a summer camp and there was this camper who had the same name as my sister, and she acted and looked extremely similar to my sister. It was just like seeing her for the first time again.

Whenever I listen to this song my best friend comes to mind. I remember when I first met her six years ago in school. She entered the class with a note and gave it to the teacher, he read it and told the class she was a new student that could only speak Spanish and nobody talked to her since mostly everyone only spoke English. I speak English and Spanish so I went up to her and started talking. We became friends and as time went by we were like sisters. We were always sticking together for years. She meant the world to me. One day when Covid was just discovered the school said they would have to close down the school just for two days so when our last day of school was over she hugged me and we told each other, "see you in two days!" Without knowing those were going to be our last words together in person. After 1 day the school called everyone and said they were actually going to close down for 2 weeks then after 2 weeks passed it turned into months. Then the school decided to close for the rest of the year. Me and her were sad but we had the internet to communicate so we did that. Before we were going to see each other again she moved away and moved to another school so i didnt see her again for years. But that didnt stop us from being best friends. We FaceTimed and texted a lot. Then one day we stopped texting for a long time because she got a new phone and when we texted again it felt like we haven't talked in so long. She was telling me about all her drama and about life and we planned to meet each other on person again after years. Then one day when I was at a restaurant with my family I read something that still makes me feel devastated. I was looking at the news and her dad murdered her and her sisters and then killed himself. I fell and started crying in public. I couldn't believe what I just saw. It's almost been two months since her death and I still think about her 24/7 but I know I have to let her go one day. I still remember all the memories I had with her and she's been with me almost my whole entire life. I just know im going to miss her with my whole heart. Whenever I see pictures of her it really does feel like seeing her for the first time. I'm feeling down. I got off of my honors class off of a 0.2%, I finished the first year of uni, made tons of friends that now I have to let go of. I made a friend in particular that I am glad is in my life. She's sweet, fun, and an escape from times of what I'm going through. After 1 day the school called everyone and said they were actually going to close down for 2 weeks then after 2 weeks passed it turned into months. Then the school decided to close for the rest of the year. Me and her were sad but we had the internet to communicate so we did that. Before we were going to see each other again she moved away and moved to another school so i didnt see her again for years. But that didnt stop us from being best friends. We FaceTimed and texted a lot. Then one day we stopped texting for a long time because she got a new phone and when we texted again it felt like we haven't talked in so long. She was telling me about all her drama and about life and we planned to meet each other on person again after years. Then one day when I was at a restaurant with my family I read something that still makes me feel devastated. I was looking at the news and her dad murdered her and her sisters and then killed himself. I fell and started crying in public. I couldn't believe what I just saw. It's almost been two months since her death and I still think about her 24/7 but I know I have to let her go one day. I still remember all the memories I had with her and she's been with me almost my whole entire life. I just know im going to miss her with my whole heart. Whenever I see pictures of her it really does feel like seeing her for the first time. Rest in peace 💚
Edit: I just went to her 1 year anniversary of her and her sisters a few weeks ago and i saw her mom again after years and we were talking about memories i had with her and we were watching her memorial video. I also visited her grave and i bursted out crying because i felt like i havent been so close to her in person for so long. I finally accepted that shes gone forever but i still think about her everyday.
I'm deeply sorry for your loss. I bet she's keeping an eye on you, making sure you live your life to the fullest.

I made a friend in particular that I am glad is in my life. She's sweet, fun, and an escape from times of what I'm going through. She is gonna stay in the honors' class, whereas I shall go bck to normal engineering classes. I wish I could go back in time and just get that 0.2% back. It would've been life changing.

On 2021 I was still thinking to take my life away as I was stressed by everything that happened to me, but this songs stays with me everywhere I go
I don't know how to feel about life anymore, I really don't. I'm still so young, I just turned 13 two weeks ago and I'm going through so much all at once. No one should have to deal with this. I keep arguing with my parents and the only time I'm really happy is when I'm at school, laughing and making jokes with my friends and classmates. When I'm back home all of that is gone. wow, I never thought that a song was going to make me more depressed than I already am, July 2020 the day my father died from an illness and seriously he was my only friend that I knew in person he was the only one who helped me and defend myself I miss everything a lot, December 2020 my grandmother died I never thought that day would come I saw how she was slowly suffering we had to help her in everything, December 27, 2020 I am diagnosed with depression due to bullying, deaths of relatives, loss of friends and problems family, September 2021 I ended a friendship all because of me, fence I never thought I was going to suffer all this but my father told me this "don't ever give up, it doesn't matter if someone dies or you ended your relationship with someone, what matters is that you must go ahead and make a living" dad I miss you...
