Hi. I took out my 62te myself. I replaced all the seals and am about to reinstall it. I don't have any compressed air to flush out my lines. What can be used in place of that to get it done? I'm doing this at home so......any suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Carrie
Hi, Carrie! Nice work so far! You can turn the can upside down and it'll blow air. You could also buy compressed air or even a super cheap air compressor and air fittings from harbor freight tools or similar place.
@AdamLucasYT thanks for responding so quick. I now have the 62te back into place and am about to reconnect everything...but I thought of something. Since I'm putting back my original trans and not a rebuilt one or new one,..... Do I even need to flush the lines in that case? I'm sure it would be recommended and good practice. But since I'm w/o my ride at the moment its a bit inconvenient. Wondering if it's mando when just reinstalling the original one? Thanks Adam. Much appreciated.
Man, I filmed this a long time ago and it used to be on my other channel. It's hard to remember now, but I think with filming and taking care of my kids and stuff it took me a couple days. It's probably just a 4 hour job though for removal. Hard for me to remember now.
