Brilliant Steve. My wife and I know these street very well. As you said there are some great bars and restaurants that most people who visit will never see. You missed one of yours and my favourite bars Sete Estrelas. A more down to earth bar you will not find. Olhao is not a tourist hotspot. I hope it stays like that. It is perfect as it is. Steve - do you know why they eat so early in the evening in Olhao? Is this typical of the Algarve - we expected people eating late dinners as they do in Spain. Just wondered if there was a reason !
Hi Tamira, normally the locals and us also eat dinner around 830pm to 9pm, especially in the summer. Maybe people on holiday eat dinner early, on the other hand the Portuguese people eat lunch super early.😆Hope you enjoyed your holiday and visiting Olhao.

Good video. Too bad the local banks and real estate businesses have such ugly storefronts. They don’t respect the historical architecture of their rentals and the historic part of town.
