Just the name Melchizidek inspires awe. Melchizidek means King (Melchi) of Righteousness (Zidek) and he was the king of Salem- the future- Jerusalem (Salem means peace). Thus Melchizidek was the king of Righteousness and Peace. He seved in a dual role as priest & king- a Prototype of Christ Who serves in a Triple Role of Prophet, Priest, and King. Thank You Lord.

*A lot of people don't realize that Abraham's Dad lived for many years after Abraham left him in Haran. Abraham was 135 when his Dad passed (see Genesis 11) as Terah was 70 when Abraham was born and lived to be 205. Terah died just 2 years prior to Abraham's beloved wife Sarah. God totally called Abraham away from his father & that lifestyle. Just wanted to drop thus nugget.
