We had a huge gluten free thanksgiving but ended up doing it on Black Friday. Well we also planned an awesome Black Friday purchase and surprise for the family, but when it showed up we realized it was not right!

I’m sorry about y’all’s dishwasher. I pray it gets resolved & done right. Glad y’all had a great Thanksgiving meal. It all looked wonderful. Jon asked who eats cranberry I do. Wish i could have found the gf stuffing and pie crusts. I made homemade cornbread dressing and skipped the pies. I'm nearly 70 and have spinal stenosis. Those convience items sure would have helped. Oh well, I've decided that was my last Thanksgiving dinner. I can't do it anymore. The celiac disease has taken it's toll on me and I'm tired. I'm anemic yet again. I don't cheat my diet, that's just the way things are.
The very least his lazy butt could do is the dishes after she cooked all that food 🤣

I am weird and need to pretend my meat comes from the store. I know it’s better fresh but my brain thinks if it’s from the store than it’s not an animal. 😂 i struggle when my fam brings over deer meat. And I’ve skinned fresh deer meat and brined it and cooked it for my husband when my daughter’s boyfriend brought over some not finished. I just wouldn’t eat it. 😂 i want to buy a partial cow but i need it to come in the meat packaging so i can pretend it’s not an animal.

We have, on whatever day works for our working kids, "Friendsgiving". Followed by board games or other games. Most of my kids are spread all over the place, so we coordinate!

Enough to know they need to follow the dietary requirements for it 😊
As someone with celiac, it's way easier to just have a GF home. It's also genetic, so if one kid has it, the likelihood of the others having it is pretty high.
Hey Murray family I know how it is growing up in a family of Celiac disease my mom had it on the inside, my oldest uncle had it on the outside, my youngest uncle he had it rough on the inside and outside then a few weeks before my granddaddy died they found out he had it. I've been tested for it but one Dr said I've got it another said I don't then I had another said I do. But I eat too much bread starch stuff I get sick both ways plus I break out like my uncle's did. So I watch how much I eat. My mom's best friend use to make her 2 loafs of homemade bread every year for Christmas she did it for dad and the boys for over 10 years after she died. We looked forward to Christmas by her because dad would bring my husband me and my 2 nephews that lived with us. Now my youngest nephew he likes gluten free diet some and he's allergic to milk. The big L word it's hard for me to say it must less spelling it *😅.
So I know what y'all are going through sending prayers for you all. I love watching yals shows sending loves from Virginia.
One of Elena's blood tests was 12. I have no idea if it was the ttg iga which is the most reliable blood test. That's just barely above normal. She should have had a small bowel biopsy to confirm. It has to be at least 10 times higher than the control number before even considering skipping the biopsy. Sorry, but I'd make sure my child actually has the disease before subjecting the entire family to the gf diet. It's sorely lacking in vitamins...especially if you exist on packaged gluten free replacement junk foods.
@@cr-lb5yhNot true. You can have a celiac gene that never gets activated. Unfortunately, I caught a gastrointestinal bug that activated mine. I never grew. Im 4'10" tall. I have what's known as classic celiac disease symptoms. My mom was a type 1 diabetic, it killed her at a young age. We don't take insulin to prevent developing that. There's no reason for an entire family to be denied a proper gluten containing diet. I usually make a gf dinner and the rest of the family can supplement with any form of gluten they desire throughout the day.
