This played in the other room while I was sleeping this morning. The music played in my dream, it was strange. I immediately woke up and went to ask my parents if I "overheard something familiar" and they laughed and rewound it to show me. I wouldn't have remembered by myself where the music was from, but as soon as I saw the first shot of the guy in the airport it came back to me.

I think this is the greatest commercial of all time. The subtlety and self awareness it exudes is a breathe of fresh air, I think that is the reason we are so oddly drawn to it even today. At the time(early 2000s), every commercial was a fever dream filled with obnoxious dialogue, seizure inducing visuals, and corny gimmicks and this commercial was a break from all that . Truly iconic.

I may have been born in 2007 but god almighty dam, that 2000’s quality sound and picture quality gives me this nice nostalgic comfort. Back when phones were so simple and my dads old laptop that by today’s standards is crap would be the one thing that introduced me to “internet” and computers. I would pay millions of dollars just to go back in the 2000’s see some really cool things, and then just sit in a parking lot of a 2000’s era grocery store and see the sun go down.
