Yep. Ironically out of the 5 yamaha 1200 npv engines between us, this one is the only one that hasn't yet blown up in some way. But yeah with a seadoo you never blow it up because it won't be running long enough.
Would love to see this on the water! I think this project was really cool! Best of both worlds a seadoo hull and Yamaha engine. Thank you guys for always pushing the envelope and getting so many creative videos out into the jet ski world :)
Mad props for the build energy. I would be careful of the pump pressure if i was riding that thing long periods wot. My 96 hx w a modded 785 didnt like the pump setup all too much.
Yeah it will be interesting to see how the 1200 likes the 140 pump. I did my best guess to set it up right but I don't know of anybody else running something similar so we will all find out together how it works.

I had a different engine for it originally but it was going to be a huge PITA and slower. It's kind of a miracle that I decided to build this at all but I really am happy with how it turned out.
I’m curious how this thing would stack up against a good running bone stock 96 xp or 95xp800. With these hulls power isn’t everything. Impeller and nozzle combos make a huge difference. Still an unbelievable build and I think you are answering a lot of people’s craziest what if scenarios with this build! Awesome job!
I'm really happy with how it turned out. It was pretty random and I wasn't really planning on building this thing, but I for some reason thought it would be easy enough and cool and people would really like it. Josh does have a 95 xp so.....
I think we pretty much have to run it against the 95xp800 and see what happens. I am very interested to see which one is better. I hope that this build inspires people to do similar things, its a lot of fun to build and test this stuff. especially when Jacob builds it not me hahaha. 👌👍

@@Jacobskibros the barely fit, and by that I mean I had to cut the seat out for the exhaust and cut the hull around the exhaust. It's pretty insane looking at it and I think their weight is comparable to a blaster 1 but the handling is god awful

I remember when we did first did the widow raider with the 1200 and 155 pump..... you would turn the handlebars and it would go straight earing it the name. I hope it handles so bad its good! I am way more excited about this than I thought I would be. It really wasn't that bad to build. especially for how weird it is. It seems like a distinctly jsb build so hopefully it rips and proves itself. The waterbox I put about 5 min total of thinking about it before going for it and it turned out sweet. The ski sounds mean but not straight pipe loud. It's really fun to watch it all get done in one video even if it takes a long time to do.

I am really just trying to keep improving my editing game. I was trying some new editing techniques in this one and I think I like how it turned out. The music is from the TH-cam audio library so you can use it too, I think the songs are even linked in the video description. TH-cam has been doing that automatically lately, which is kind of nice. Pretty sure its only for the music from their audio library but could be wrong about that. When I get done with replying to comments on this video I want to watch your newest video again and put an actual real comment on there. I watched the whole thing on Sunday but the second the video was done I had to go to a family thing. I usually do my real comments on the second play through. Any way cheers buddy 🍻

Guys I vote to see this in the water I have the exact same machine totally rebuilt from the ground up . 93 came with the 657....the 94 has the 657X which hauls big time ..fast quick ... I just found a rare 1995 XP with the 787X engine , being geared up 100% a keeper my money is on the 95 XP it was a game changer and waxed the 1200 Yamaha's in 1995 .. ............5 Stars again .... great video .

That motor sounds nice and crisp. Maybe a hint of death rattle coming from the bottom end but whatever. If it's got issues it'll definitely let you know.

I bought a b1 from Jason over winter. He had 4 at one time now he's down to 2 so now we got 3 between us. The b2 doesn't count. I do feel for guys that just want one cool ski and they want an ok deal. Meanwhile you got guys with 5 of those skis and they got to buy every single one they see.
Wasnt the 94 657 80hp? The 1200 non power valve motor 135hp? I still have my genuine pump puller out in the shop Every now and then someone brings me a old seadoo but dont use it much any more.
I don't know the exact technicalities but this year xp has a different style of driveshaft carrier bearing or whatever it's called. It's different than the newer xp. I was looking at a newer o xp today and I noticed it was different.
Do you use amp oil in the impeller drive unit by chance. That might help on wear.& tear to some. Along with none ethanol fuel.& with octane booster in it. Add some cataclean into it only on A 1/4 tank of fuel run on empty then refuel up again. On that truck try it in your truck to same method to.

No man don't sale it. Unless you get A pretty good amount of money for it for sure Jacob. That area you sealed up with silacone I know A different method on that part for ya to use to. It's called flex seal.& flex seal glue to.
