12:00 I actually bought one of those mini cameras off wish like that because my kid, who was like 7 at the time, wanted to catch a video of the tooth fairy. We setup the motion activated night mode and hid it in her room when she lost her tooth, and then I spent all night editing in video footage of the a cartoon wisp in her room flying to her pillow and back out of the room and put the video back on the camera. The next day we checked the camera and she saw the footage and was just so excited about it. She went on and on about it for over a year.

TO BE FAIR; I do actually use the cat blindfold on my horrible little hellspawn to trim her claws. She was traumatized at the vet when she was a baby so she completely flips out. You can wrap them up so they don’t scratch you but she also bites. She also has to be drugged with gabapentin. And that damn cat won’t eat food with the powder in it so I need to find another way :/

EDIT: Despite the chipmunk joke, I am being serious. It's a big problem. Harnessing such a little thing puts tremendous stress on its back, and it could die. Even with more robust animals like Guinea Pigs, it's still a bad idea. If you pull too hard, you could easily kill your pet. Just a PSA, DO NOT harness small animals. If you want to take them somewhere, hold them gently and place them in a playpen or other structure. Invest in a travel-sized cage. Don't take your tiny friends outside in these harnesses, they could very well die. Please don't harness your little friends.

@20:18 I think camera laws vary state to state. In MN you need "implied consent". I think this mostly applies to businesses, but basically - you don't have to explicitly tell someone they're being filmed, but you have to post a visible sign somewhere on the property that says that cameras exist on said property. Most businesses just put it on the door. I have no idea what the rules are in a private residence though.

The thing about Wish that always draws me in is that.. like.. it’s not totally insane.

There’s a sound idea there based on reality. I consistently get the ad for an alley of stray cats, and I think it’s for catnip seeds?
