I hadn't considered more utility with Zyra before so thanks for the new thoughts.. to add to your tips section, both her plants can block skill shots and can safely pop Teemo shrooms.
Yes, 5 stacks early is already really good value for Zyra. Going for 10 stacks is a bit of a stretch as you start gaining too many unnecessary stats just to get an additional 15 AP. I actually think Jack of All Trades can be used for MANY supports who like AP + AH.
A question. If you are not playing Zyra for her damage, why not just play a different champion that doesn't need to spend money on a rylais to offer utility?
It's an alternative build, if you think your team has enough damage. I think going for straight damage is probably the better build overall, but in League there's always the "it depends" situation. So Rylai first COULD be good in certain scenarios
Isn't better to have 3 points in W by lvl 5? A 3 point W is 14 sec and base q is 7, without accounting for her passive you have a constant uptime on seeds if you use only one per trade.
So the point of having plants in this build is to utilize the slow proc effect you can get from Rylai. I basically want to time getting Rylai at the same time of getting my 3rd W skill point.
Yeah... it's a decent nerf for sure, but I still think it's a viable keystone. I'm estimating it'll be about a 450g nerf over 30 mins of playtime. You'll basically be hitting item powerspikes about a minute or two later, which could be significant :(
i was waiting for this for a while
Same, i am so happ, there is a new Zyra guide, i just love thiss Champ

Super informative guide!
Is first strike still a good option and are you still maxing Q over E?
do you just leave jack of all trades at 5 stacks bcs i realized it is not easy to fully stack it with this build path

@@ADDikt8Gaming thanks for the reply man
Didn't know that Zyra has more than 1 type of plant. Good video, keep it up!

Why ignite over exhaust for utility zyra
Ignite stops them from getting heal. Better for securing the kill.

I think with first strike you losing so much damage
It's more of a scaling build where you sacrifice some early damage for more gold.
