It's sad that Thyme was not respectful and trustworthy as Gun is.
He literally spied on them using his previous access to steal info. It may have been his idea but thhe progress and end product did not consist of his own efforts and his actions show just how self-centered he is. His success is at the detriment of tthe team's. Gun unfortunately had trust in someone who lacks the ability to be a real friend.
