Seriously. Maybe you dont see so good😂. What i know was that two guys who absolutely LOVE our football were so excited to be sharing our combined 92 years of experience in the game with the viewers. And in a truthful open way that is most unlike the normal scared to "rock the boat" interviews you normally read and see. Yes we did speak over each other at times and that is because we were caught up in being real. I think most people got that. I could easily have edited that out, that you obviously are aware of!! But then i would be sanitising the interview and thats not real. Where you are correct is that we are both white, but unfortunately we cant change that. Obviously, you are entitled to your view and i fully respect that. The mere fact that i am taking the trouble to respond to you, should show you that even your negative comment is important to me, simply because i respect everyone who responds, not just the positive responses.I hope in future we can win you over.

Mr Gavin Hunt.Dr Patrice Motsepe explained that the teams to participate in the AFL were chosen through CAF rankings. He said he even wanted Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates to participate but they didn't qualify according to their rankings. So if maybe Supersport can win the league and play in Caf quarter finals just like Sundowns have qualified in past 9 years and semi finals last season. Then maybe Superpsort will have a chance if they can be consistent for couple of years in qualifying for CAF . maybe then can obtain enough points to play for AFL.Lets not just be negative .AFL Sundowns vs Wydad game was watched by 4.5Billion people.R76 million prize money.8 Best teams in Africa.next year it's 24 teams.Orlando Pirates CAF ranking now is 25th position they dropped from 24th.Did we not see Wydad Fans celebrating with Coach Rulani and his technical team?Wasnt that specticular ?

Sundowns doesn't steal those players .So please stop it with excuses and get on with the coaching. Also leave Coach Rulani alone. You also said You beat Sundowns 2 1 last season but you forgot to mention Sundowns also beat you 1 nil.I used to respect Gavin Hunt a lot but his finding it difficult to deal with the new talented Coach Pep Rulani and he criticize him a lot.I am happy Rulani beat Supersport with second stream team this week.

After Chiefs failed their FIFA ban appeal at the arbitration for sport(sport court),the mandate given to Gavin by Kaizer Motaung since the club couldn't sign players was to ONLY AND ONLY secure a position 8 on the log leading to the end of that particular season.
SADLY AND SADLY Gavin disappointingly failed on that mandate.....With that said..i would support his re-appointment as a Kaizer Chiefs head coach in future.

Gavin is expressive Good! but when you're always angry and always complaining you lose sight, becoming illogical.
HERE are facts! There's no money in football unless you're Chiefs or Pirates because commercial industry wants the market and the Soweto teams have that, well done to them!
The rest of other teams need owners who can dig deep into their pockets and this is SUNDOWNS and a few other club owners but Sundowns have a 100 yr vision, that's the difference!
The AFL is not here to understand an individual club's needs, No no! But it's about African advert for football, how do you get to improve our pitches, how do you get to retain good players in Africa, how do you get to invest in football development, how do you get to improve women's football??????
This why the concept of the AFL, the champions League has its own objectives. It is about league winners and runners up, and they still need preliminary rounds to qualify for the champions League.

I don't agree with Gavin Hunt, it is not possible in Africa to have 25 players squad, because the traveling in criss crossing Africa make it difficult for a team to have only 25 players. We do need increase the salaries of these players, not Cap their salaries and club wage bill.

I've tried so many times to listen and understand Coach Gavin Hunt. However, to me he appears as a kinda bitter, egoistic and self centered so much that it's easy to have a feeling that he's somehow jealous of others...
As a coach (him), I found him as someone who is resistive to change. I remember it was 2017/18 if not 2018/19 season when he was on top of the log with Wits. When I heard him saying he preferred a winger putting in a cross instead of a fullback, I told my friend that he is not going to win the league and he didn't. He hates modern football. For God's sake football evolves... When he was at Chiefs he downplayed the importance of technology and science in football saying he preferred to prepare his team at training instead of spending time watching videos of the opposition teams.. Also, SSU can't be involved in the AFL coz when it's his time to conquer Africa he plays a weak team. As we speak he has lost both group stage games he has played so far.. He speaks about boy club yet he praises apartheid system 😢 Who benefitted from that system? His language is foul. You can't speak like that about the fellow coaches, players and other teams. He kept on referring to many things as bull shit

    • @thisisfootball.africa3880
      @thisisfootball.africa3880  11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

i hear you. Jus a point on the apartheid system. Maybe he did not make it clear enough, or you misunderstood. His point was that its ridiculous that we were producing better players of all races in an apartheid society, because we should be producing better players now in a fair society BUT we not. .Therefore we are doing something wrong now. EG There is not a Chiefs player today who would even make the bench in a Chiefs team of the 1970's or 1980's. I hope that clears things up

@@thisisfootball.africa3880 I hear you. However, Hunt should just let other coaches be. This thing of referring to what other coaches do as bullshit doesn't make him look good

@@thisisfootball.africa3880 That's why South African Rugby is the benchmark globally because youth Rugby at both school and university level is at a very high level.
The support that school rugby and University Rugby receives is even better than professional football in this country. That should tell you something.
I think people only heard " Apartheid" and tuned out without actually listening to the actual message.

Hunt wont succeed at Chiefs because of the way he likes to play ,Chiefs supporters like to rejoice with how their team is playing, its not nice to seat on the edge of your chair/ couch hoping for a game to end .He talks alot about playing without the ball all the time ,he doesn't dominants opponents and he should improve and learn new ways of playing

Envy is not going to win him games and trophies besides football has evolved so much and it keeps evolving and Gavin must move with the times.
