From my perspective on this whole Kaizer Chiefs scenario is that the Motaung's will never cede nor change the way they run the club. It's either they way or the highway, it's as simple as that. Kaizer Chiefs fans & them as a club have a long way to go.

Untill the Motaung family becomes honest with themselves and admit that their way of running things is the primary problem to their prolonged downfall. However i don't see that happening unless they get a very ugly but awakening situation of finishing in bottom three only then the likes of Bobby will smell the coffee. Rob thank you for sending Kaizerjn that cv, hopefully they don't go with the Brazilian guy. I looked at his track record and i dont think he is the type of person we need.
I think they have to be honest with themselves and seek help. They don't have to abandon the team, just relinquish the power in certain places within the team.

I never thought I would one day say this but, I do not remember when last did I pay money to go watch KC game or buy a Jersey. I used to buy 1 Jersey every season but I stopped when Steve was given 2nd season 😢
Very honest conversation. Thank you for this, really enjoyed listening, it was too short though. I think people care more about Chiefs than their Management. I actually agree with you on the recruitment of the 28,29,30-year-old players, it was for instant success and it didn't work. Unfortunately, the project that Zwane was starting last season was going to give good results when he was gonna combined the young players with the older ones recruited this season, but the toxic supporters forced him out, i still think it was unfair and a panic button was pressed early to discard that plan, he came 5th last season, with good attacking stats, just needed to fix his defense and add more technically gifted players with the youth players, and he was going to do far better this season, even compete for the trophy like top 8. It is just heartbreaking seeing so many destructions affecting Chiefs. I wish my team all the best, and may GOD put his hands and bless it with good focus, re-engineering everything to be great again. We need a performing Chiefs again.

Thank you guys, this discussion has really been an eye opener for me and the insights from Rob Moore as a former club owner were very educational and they assisted us as football fans to understand the thinking that goes into hiring a coach.
The one key thing that stands out is that at a club like Chiefs a yes boss type of a coach will never cut it, a stubborn character in the mold of the likes of the late Jeff Butler is needed.

I really belive before getting a coach we need a guy who will take football related decision who is from outside.. And also we need a coach ASAP so next season he hit the ground runing

Kaizer Chiefs must fix their recruitment team and insist on desiplene of the players to make sure they work hard on training,they must know what are they working on and again they must fix the management,arch and every one must know their role and excel on them and lastly I think is time they bring analysis to the club,a lot of work need to be done and they must be prepared to pay
Andre Villas-Boas, Moin Chaabani, Kolo Toure, Alfre Schreuder, Pitso Mosimane, Gary Monk, Bruno Lage the list goes on and on
Naaa, i can't agree with the statement that the Danish guy who's the sporting director at Sundowns is RESPONSIBLE for the team's success! He only recently joined the club anyway. He's sure contributing, but the success can't be solely attributed to him!
i did not say he was responsible. The point was that Chiefs have to follow what Sundowns have done and that the family needs an indepnedant opinion at the club
Firstly, I would like to thank you for a wonderful and insightful show. Chiefs management is a problem, and they don't seem to care about the success of the team on the field. Jessica is the only one performing in marketing. Jr & his brother need to step back and after getting a proper coach.

Chiefs need good technical staff, not the cheap labor they have now. They must prepare to pay, someone who will lay good foundation.
You guys not consistent, waited and searched for you input and commentary on the AFL final win by Sundowns.
i promise we are going to do a show, within the next two shows, highlighting why and where Sundowns are so much better than the rest and that the Sky is The Limiit for this team.
