Add 1 teaspoon full of salt
Add 3 spoons of PADAEK
Add 1/2 teaspoon msg
Add1 tablespoon of tamarind powder
Add 2 tablespoons of fish sauce
Add 3 teaspoons chicken flavor bouillon

Get a knife sharpener at WalMart or Bed Bath Beyond. My dad use to use a stone which takes hours. A store bought sharpener you only swipe the knife a few times. Anyhow you make me proud to be Lao.
