OK I love the idea of these kinds of apartments, but it really pisses me off when they're that expensive. What is the F*ing point in an apartment that small being that expensive? Most people live in small spaces because they don't have that kind of money.

No, not if you did it yourself. Although this guy has used stuff from resource furniture, which is a really cool, but incredibly expensive, company, so that's probably where a lot of the money went. Plus the location. If it's in Manhattan 90% of that price will be based purely on location.

    • @nxte283

It also shows how impressive a feat it was to amass that kind of wealth but you wouldn't know that because you're innumerate and ignorant like 80% of the U.S.

Good, smart design but not worth it. The ones that actually need that type of space don't earn enough to have that apartment. If you have a million bucks, it's better to invest it some place better, like an actual house.
You don't have to spend as much plus you have more money left to invest on other assets.

Joseph Atnip NY you get jobs above 100k, prices are high in NY. St Louis you get jobs as low as 50k, prices are low. When you retire from NY, you can afford a lot more than a person in St louis coming to NY. I'm sure the guy is not going to live there for the rest of his life, hes gonna sell which another buyer would be willingly to pay a million for the location of central Manhattan.
