@Rc-Mad-Ness thanks and hope all is well in England! That Jato is something else! Consider getting a used one like I did and bringing it back to life. Very rewarding! 👍🏿
Dre, honest opinion? I have been on the fence last couple of weeks about the Jato, do you enjoy running it or are the Revo/T maxx just more all around fun. Seems to me that Jato is just a top speed runner and might not get used too much after break in. Just my opinion of course. The struggle is always real when it comes to getting a new nitro truck.
@richardgordon9649 Short answer, I would lean towards the T-Maxx/Revo before the Jato. Here's why. Out of the box, the Jato is set up for speed runs on road. Granted, you could modify it for off-road, but that kind of defeats it's purpose in my opinion. As you can see, I like to keep my R/C's original with a few modifications made to my liking. The T-Maxx/Revo does fairly well on road and great off-road, in my opinion. So, I do enjoy running those much more because of their versatility. Hope that helps!
@ Thanks Dre it does help a bit, I have always been one that want to buy all a manufacturer has to offer but many of my models end up sitting, that damm Revo has been my go to lately, such a good handling, smooth MT, just plain old fun! And I got truggys and everything. Costs nearly 3 times what a Revo costs to build a nice truggy and I just don't have the same kind of fun with it. Crazy indeed but that's me being honest. Thanks my friend! Have a good day!
@@Dre357 well I won't lie I just ordered a Jato last evening, I hate to think they discontinue that model for the new electric one and I end up kicking myself in the rear for not getting one when I could. Orange one on the way. I think Traxxas is decent about keeping the models in their lineup but it's a crazy world on the nitro side so no chances taken by me. Should have it this week coming up. Thanks for the input on this, weather is almost too cold up here in Vermont, snow is close and it's been in the twenties to start the days all week. But at least I will be ready for spring. Take care!
@richardgordon9649 excellent! I believe you made a great decision considering Traxxas most recent decisions. They usually release the replacement of a model before discontinuing the previous one.
i had a rustler it ran away off a cliff found it a year later in the woods when all the leaves were gone and it survived snow and everything else and still ran
Aye dre I've been running through glo plugs like crazy and my tmaxx is tuned well , any possibilities ? How do you prevent your glo plugs from Burning out ? I'm using the O.S LC3 glo plug at the that witch supposedly Is the good ones . What's going on?
@tjgetem3783 could be running a little too lean. Try richen it up a bit. There's been times in the past that it's happened to me as well. Hope that helps!
@tjgetem3783 several months. There's some of my nitros that I have not changed glo plugs in at least 6-8 months, maybe longer. However, I don't run all my nitros every week though. I few times a month at best.
I ❤️my nitro Rustler 2.5 but would ❤️ me a Jade.33 💯 congrats 500 subs that’s awesome dude 💯👌🤙🇬🇧

Great vid! I have an older Jato 3.3. What receiver are you running in yours. Your transmitter is for sure different.

Odd question, where did you get the fuel bottle from
Not a odd question. 😁 I don't remember though. I've had it for over 20 years. It was bought from my local hobby shop at that time.
