I was fortunate and spent 3+ years in Kadena, Okinawa. I almost didn't want to back to USA, as it is a beautiful island and the people were very friendly. I hope you were able to see other areas besides Naha as the countryside and beaches are very beautiful. 😎

because we used to think that people with tattoos = yakuza or something. and the public bath didn't want to have any problems also the guests were not comfortable. and probably it's the same reason nowadays. You can check my lated video. I explained it too.

why can't you go in the public bath if you have tattoos?
It's kinda old mindset but most of Yakuza used to have tattoos and the hotel/public bath have tried to avoid any complicated things...I think.
