Her hopelessness is almost tangible, with the song basically mocking her situation, sounding all mighty and majestic like it's saying "better feel at home, because you're never leaving. Welcome!" It makes you feel hopeless with her you know? It's tragic that she's losing it and everyone takes it as normal. I think i see why people loved this

Jax is an asshole a lot of the time cause he doesn’t really care anymore and knows that what he does doesn’t really hurt anyone too severely cause they don’t really deal with pain as seen from Ragetha just pulling a cleaver out of her head. And Zooble just ran out of fucks to give in the first place and doesn’t give a shit anymore.
I have a theory that the bright colors made the TH-cam algorithm think it was for kids, so it pushed it out to a lot of people It's also just good in general tbh

Makes sense, after seeing the pilot now. They said that Caine does these "adventures" to prevent everyone from going insane, basically putting a "cheerful" coating over a tragedy. And this song it's literally that. In the brink of breaking down, but still keeps rocking with a smile. After all there is a not so gleeful fate in store for those who lose their minds. It's like the song is saying: "I know you're confused and scared, but i promise that you will have a great time here! I promise! Please stop crying..." You can also see that in Pomni in the screen. As the song keeps going, she progressively loses it, ending up in fetal position in the end of the song. While the song tries it's best to sound gleeful and happy going.

Y'know before the pilot we only ever knew Caine and Pomni, this show could have been anything! Knowing Gooseworx, I thought that it'd be a collection of *circus* bits involving Pomni being put into various predicaments all broadcast on the TVs around the same city Elaine and The Ghost Awards took place and whatnot... like a replacement for the Darly Boxman Show! I'm happy that it still falls under Gooseworx' iconic way of storytelling. Character we were all teased about for months on end, unable to know who is who and what they do. Or even the overall plot! So now that we're 4 episodes deep, I sure am excited to see what happens next, because for all we know? It could be someplace totally new, or all hell breaks loose.
It would hurt to see, but I can almost see Pomni going completely insane by the end of the series. Based on her increasingly unstable body language shown here.
I really like the dissonance between the cheerful circus-sounding theme song and Pomni's terror and confusion. It really sets the mood of "colorful and fun but disturbing underneath" very well. I'm so excited. ^^ I feel bad for Pomni and the other trapped characters though.

As a HUGE fan of Popee the Performer, I can tell this series is going to be amazing. This theme is so bouncy and fun, yet has that disturbing undertone to it. Absolutely perfect, nice job Gooseworx.
I feel they will step up different companies may make their own animation studios compared to the TV show studios that do it and they may blow up into something huge :)

The fact that this is both upbeat and terrifying makes it a wonderful work of art. I legitimately don’t think I can wait until this show gets funded. I’m going to die in the interim. Also Pomni slowly losing her mind as the music plays was a genius touch.
I can easily not go insane but after a while I got more and more annoyed until I couldn't handle it. How long? 1 hour and 34 minutes (I think) I love this music still.

You can tell that Pomni will be the most cool calm and collective character. Also I love the early cgi style to everything. It looks like early demo reals which themselves were creepy with a coat of high contrast color in an attempt to make them not look creepy. Love it!

This song is so upbeat and funky in a goofy (but good) way. I can’t stop watching Pomni just sit there- idle animation and all. The end is great, Pomni just curling up into a fetal position lol.
It was absolutely worth waiting for, Goose. I loved it and Bubble's voice is perfect. It's been wild starting with Undertale covers and great OCs on DA, all the way up to an immaculately animated existentialist nightmare comedy. I hope it gets all the love it deserves.
Hearing the choir at 1:24 adds a nice touch when going into a mental breakdown and having a deep dive into insanity. Just another manic day in The Amazing Digital Circus!
I so, so, so love the contrast between Digital Circus' and Murder Drones' mascots. The Murder Drones' main theme had V looking all badass and menacing while the theme plays. Digital Circus has Pomni look confused and nervous about everything, I love it!
Everything about this show from the trailer to the music to the aesthetic and the visuals just all combines into a weird unsettling atmosphere that I think is exactly what they're looking for.

The transition from low quality video and audio to sudden high quality at the start of the actual show (they dont do it in the official one here 😭) was SO satisfying to me. I literally can't describe how much i liked that.
I love that behind the fun brass, there’s something of an augural or just ominous choir there. It’s beautiful, and it related to how the show is supposed to be all fun on the surface, but then you dig a bit and get darker stuff. I really like that
I think it's also a callback to the kind of cheap midi soundfonts these kinds of old CD rom games would use. The whole asthetic is very much like an uncanny version of those old CD games.

I really love the feeling of this show. I feel like a kid again. everything is so silly and wacky, but with a pinch of insanity hidden at the bottom of the box. so much mysteries. and the characters are so well made too. i'm excited to see more.
This show really does capture an old school sense of whimsy with still some darker and foreboding undertones. If I had one criticism, i do feel maybe they played their full decks a little too soon, introducing the horror aspects earlier. But that’s just me, perhaps this serious will surprise me yet.

yup, if u got to 0:20 of the official "Overworld Theme" for super mario world, its pretty much that part. Its amazing actually. First Gooseworx makes Lil Runmo and than this, might be a big Mario fan.
This is definitely amazing! (no pun intended) You put a lot of time and effort into this Gooseworx as it really does have the sound and feel for the opening to a 90s game. But also the little idle animations for Pomni going slowly insane as the main theme goes on is a really nice touch to this.
Just listening to this is giving me a headache. That’s actually a good thing, as listening to this on loop will really make you feel what Pomni’s feeling right now. This song will drive YOU insane, just as the circus drives Pomni insane. This song is a MASTERPIECE, hands down, as it truly immerses you in the show. If the sound design for the entire show is as awesome as this, then it’s gonna be EPIC!!!

I remember so many years ago listening to Gooseworx's Bonetrousle remix and it becoming one of my favorite things ever during that point in time. Now I'm seeing them make this new series with even better music and amazing character designs with a plot that already is looking to be super interesting. I LOVE the very subtle choir in this track! It’s such a minor detail but it really adds to the feeling that something is not right!

I really love the feeling of this show. I feel like a kid again. everything is so silly and wacky, but with a pinch of insanity hidden at the bottom of the box. so much mysteries. and the characters are so well made too. i'm excited to see more.
This show really does capture an old school sense of whimsy with still some darker and foreboding undertones. If I had one criticism, i do feel maybe they played their full decks a little too soon, introducing the horror aspects earlier. But that’s just me, perhaps this serious will surprise me yet.

This is definitely amazing! (no pun intended) You put a lot of time and effort into this Gooseworx as it really does have the sound and feel for the opening to a 90s game. But also the little idle animations for Pomni going slowly insane as the main theme goes on is a really nice touch to this.
