    Great looking bike fella, just how I want mine but different colour! I’ve just bought an 1972 Yamaha R5 with a RD350 engine fitted (370cc) I’m going to be converting it over winter to a cafe racer. Could you tell me where you got the thruxton seat unit from please?
    Hope to see more vids with this bike in soon✊🏼

      @Kaleverybodyspal  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      htothejay very nice. As far as the length of the pipes, a lot of the guys shorten just the silencers. Looks great. I just havnt gotten that far yet.

    • @htothejay
      @htothejay 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      They shorten the damper? How is that done so it looks good?;)
      And What about Sound ?
      Definately gonna look into that ;)
      Iam keeping the stock swingarm with bras bushings, so it want get any longer

    You definitely don't have to feel sad over throwing money on such a bike. These bikes are getting expensive, at least where I live.

      Hell yeah man. Theres a classic show tomorrow I'm taking it too. I have more updated videos and rides of it. Check it out. Love this thing! It's never finished lol!

      @@Kaleverybodyspal I broke my back in a paragliding accident 3 years ago, paralyzed from my glutes and down except most of my quads. That's enough function for me to get up from my wheelchair and hop on to a bike unless it's too tall or heavy. Took out my old moped which where in pieces since my little brother had it like 15 years ago and put it together and found out that I could ride it with a modified shifter(largened toe heal type) so I can stomp it both ways as I can't move my feet. Originally it had 1hp and 30kmh but after a year I totally converted it, a Suzuki K50 into a vintage tracker/dirt bike with somewhere around 15hp and feels quicker than a legal 125cc. Took a lot of work modifying the engine but it's so satisfying when you succeed after all that welding and grinding trying to squeeze in larger carbrs, reeds, crank, clutch and pretty much everything is beefed up and modded in some way. I'm having so much fun on that bike and can ride it pretty much anywhere(not legally anymore unfortunately) as it's light enough for me to handle in most situations except advanced offroad.
      Tomorrow I'm going to buy an old Suzuki GP 125 from 81 which is going to become a cafe racer for legal street riding so I can ride around cities and use my K50 for the woods and countryside. I've found a modern 170cc cylinder from Parmakit with some really nice porting made for Vespa that I should be able to get on to it with some modifications to the engine block. +30hp shouldn't be too hard to get out of it and that can be pretty fun on a small 100kg bike + my tiny 60kg.

      @@Henrik.Yngvesson that is so cool. You seem to know a bunch about the small 2 stroke engines. Good luck with that. Glad you are able to still ride.
