- Aloha! Bradah E asked me to harvest a bunch of reef fish for his moms ho'olewa (memorial) from his property. So I take out the Evolve CT9 and go to work.

Great vid, brotha! I was off Magnolia Pt in Rockport, USA last weekend where the typical vis is 1-3m. On this day, however, vis was around 10m. Kicked out off the steep rocky shore and was immediately greeted by fish. Hunted all the way out about a half mile to this island bird sanctuary. Hunted for a while and just as I was about to head in, I was blessed by a small group of fish in the shallows off the island. I was getting tossed along the rocks, but as soon as I hit this deep gully I was able to twist around, calm myself, and make the shot. 6.5m Picasso shaft on a Rob Allen Tuna 90 Roller with 14mm small ID bands I cut specifically for the shaft and BAM! Stone shot and the fish was done. Made ceviche right on the shore. Prepped one jug with lime and onion and the other with diced spicey tomatoes, black olives, cut mango, cilantro (coriander), seasonings, and I had a can of coconut milk w me. Mix it all up after letting the fish cook in the lime juice. Serve with corn chips on the rocks in some mellow rain after a beautiful dive. Lots of love from North Short New England, brotha!
