Tim also holds the world record for largest vocal range, too. His previous record was a 10 octave range, but he increased that to a full 12 octaves. Absolutely insane.
Human hearing is good to about D0... after that, we just feel it. Tim has hit a melodic B -1, which is crazy. I am a trained bass singer with a very deep voice and G0 (nearly a full octave higher) is my lowest melodic note.
@@ColtonRMagby, his lowest melodic note is a B -1, however. Which is absolutely insane. That means, at B -1, he still has some chest connection and isn't 100% fry.
@@ColtonRMagby, I am chomping on Tim's heals with largest vocal range, though. My lowest fry note is getting really close to the 3rd negative octave but my highest whistle note is in the 9th octave. Just the fact Tim can sing into the 5th octave with his voice type is incredible, though.
@johndeeregreen4592 I'd love to hear your 9th octave whistle note as I've managed to just creep into the 7th octave with whistle tone but still far from Dimash and his D8, but you as a fellow bass singer being able to go higher is unbelievable 😲
I've seen Tim Storms live and it is crazy! His regular singing, not trying to hit super low notes, just regular bass is so strong it was shaking the floor hahaha. Edit: I was just checking and yeah, it was either Vocal Union or Acapella (two different Christian Singing Groups) that he did a guest appearance with when I went with my dad who is a Preacher/Pastor/Minister (lots of words all meaning same thing) to a Christian Conference in Tennessee. We had a lot of fun and one of those groups was doing a concert with Tim Storms and so my dad took me because he knew how much I loved music and singing. It was incredible! Happened so many years ago, but I still remember hearing Tim Storm's voice just rumble the entire auditorium hahahahha
Tim is amazing! He has one of the largest vocal ranges of 12 octaves. I have been a fan of his for years now. He is the Top Dragon slayer and it is a well deserved title. Great reaction again Dave
This guy and Eric Holloway must be high ranking officals on the board of dragon slayers. I put on my headphones and the sound not only vibrates my head but my chest was vibrating too.......HOW IS THAT POSSIBLE?!?!?
Eric Holloway is an oktavist. While rarest male vocal typeit is at least a small percentage of males capable of it (in Russia exclusive choir type). But Tim Storms is singular in what he can. NO ONE can do the 2-3 lowest oktaves he can. Those not shown in this video, because those can´t be sung.
I've seen your reactions to Type O Negative, and if you want another good example of a bass singer with a relatively low voice in his own right, Peter Steele is your guy. But Tim's voice is also very good, as I appreciate lower voice timbre and tone a tad more than some of the higher pitched vocal types. Basses are great. 🔥💯
Yes, low voice. However, for a really good Mitch slap, please react to PTX on the masked singer. The best performance is when they are revealed and sing Creep. There is actual instruments or a track, which is very different for ptx. Enjoy.
You got duped bro. To get a voice that deep naturally, he would have to have a chest of a gorilla and a neck thicker than Brock Lesnar and Henry Roland back in the day combined. Not even Barry White could get that low. He's using a vocal effect that adds an offset layer to the edges just enough to blend that gargling noise into each other to mimic singing. Get him away from that microphone and you will hear a drastic difference that's not so spectacular.

Bro's the dragon elder
Geoff casteluci, tim foust, avi kavlan sounds like TENOR now😂
Lol. At some point, the brain just refuses to accept😮
The majority of his vocal range is BELOW human hearing.

The Apex Dragon is just chilling, letting off some bass shaking the planet....
Yes, that's what Tim Storm's alter ego name should be!
@@Arachnia_Sea Of course.
So deep the Balrog of Moria had dig him out from the depths.

I’m 1:10 minutes in and I need him and Geoff in a music video like yesterday. Dragonbreath fire I tells ya!
Geoff loves listening to Tim sing.
I was just about to say, could you imagine Geoff and Tim in a song together....

Dragon Elder, hell no, This is the one and only DRAGON GOD from whom all other dragon slayers come.
That is the most rugged and beautiful bass I have ever heard ! 💫⚘️💫 .... and Dave, love your facial expressions ⚘️❤⚘️
You know it's low when he got you sniffing the deodorant 😂

You're not going to have enough deodorant for this one!😂
The bass limbo bar just got lowered...
a whole lot...
How many times did that guy casually hit C1?
I traversed to the the deepest depths of Mordor and said "Whats that noise" and they said thats Tim singing in the basement
He’s a true bass
Tim Storms is absolutely insane compared to Geoff Castellucci, Tim Foust, Avi Kaplan and all of the other bass singers out there💀💀

What about eric Holloway?
I'm, like, HOW is it this low???
