He had the opportunity to sign for separation instead he signed one NIGERIA and the one NIGERIA that Zik signed for, is now hurting NIGERIANS and most especially his own Igbo people today..

You know this is one problem with people of sentiment. Your story is full of bias and sentiment. You portrayed Agui Ironsi as a nice person despite all the atrocities he cause to the nation. He organized and killed all our heroes who tried to build the nation under an imminent legacy. You placed Nnamdi Azikwe as the person responsible for Nigerian independence when the whole world knew that the independent was fought by a group of imminent personalities from all sections of the country. How can you and your story be taken serious when the entire message was to promote a particular tribe in the country. We are all know you're belong to that tribe so eat it all, we don't like it.

The fact that you may have ethnic bias against any region does not mean facts should be jettisoned.

Interestingly, that is your own view... What is suppose to be of concern to Nigerians is the workability of the country. Unfortunately, we are all going to be like a people consumed by their own hate.
Assuming the country is working, no one would really care who is the president. Unfortunately, the 8 years of Buhari witnessed the highest killing of Hausa/Fulani citizens in the history of Nigeria. Also, corruption was at it all time high.
Now that Tinubu is president from the southwest, I'm not sure if the hardship in the land spares the region. Every Nigerian is suffering the same economic conditions.
The only difference is the politician who benefits directly or indirectly from the govt. And they cut across all the regions.
So, instead of satisfying yourself that someone from your region is president while hunger finish all of us, it's better we begin to elect credible and capable leaders as long as they are Nigerians.
Maybe, that way, we will begin to build a Nigeria of our dreams. I hope that one day Nigerians will eschew regional and religious considerations as bases to elect leaders.
Like prof PLO Lumumba said, it's only leaders who are policy bankrupt that manipulate the people using ethnic and religious sentiment and corruption.
I believe that one day hunger, economic hardship, killings, and all the ills bedavilling our sociopolitical society will force all of us to do the right things and see Nigeria ahead of our regions and religions.
Thank you very much for watching. I appreciate your feedback. 🙏

It was a curse..The soldiers who did it took his turban off poured wine on his head , forced him to drink before shooting him. the records are there. But then all you said are not far from the truth.. it's a sorry situation we are in as Nigerians I don't know if Nigeria can recover.. the damage is intense. The major obstacles I see are tribalism and religion and corruption.. I don't want to believe God made a mistake by putting us together as a people to co exist despite our differences as a tribal people.. God never makes mistakes.Or is separation the best solution?.. I don't even know what to say.. it's so overwhelming when you think about it.

    • @HispleMedia
      @HispleMedia  9 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@henryknight8626 thank you for your feedback. I will research further on the course to ascertain the truth or otherwise of the claim.
On the issue of separation, I don't think that is the way forward. As someone from the minority ethnic groups in the south south, I do not support separate. But Nigeria should be structured in away that will create healthy balance of competition and growth. The lazy structure of going to Abuja every other month to collect allocation - squander a majority - and return the next month is not helping the nation. It has helped to creat a crop of lazy leaders with no policy direction. Leaders without foresight, leaders that are greedy and selfish.
The way forward therefore is to restructure the polity, leave religion out of political considerations, genuinely fight corruption and inculcate a national approach to issues. This must be done sincerely.
One typical example is Tanzania. There, people aspiring for leadership positions dare not resort to ethnic or religious campaigns. In fact, the citizens are immuned from these considerations.
I hope that we will not be led like a blind mob to our destruction.
I appreciate you taking the time to engage with us. Much love ❤️💙❤️🎄🎄
