There's a couple of songs where the vocals are off from the music like king was having trouble with his in ear monitor mix being delayed. I could see him messing around grabbing his ear during invisible guest
From what I understand he doesn't wear IEM's! From what I understand the stage monitors were cutting out and he couldn't hear the band anymore at times. For example during Burn he started singing during Andy's solo
Saw him in KC, he did forget lyrics, but so does James Hetfield. It was an amazing show! After all, he is nearly 70!!!
Looks to me like his in ears went out and he lost track of the band, he's actually incredibly sharp for his age.
