Love the build mate but you need to disconnect the tent from the cab of the vehicle. The cab and the tub are mounted to the cab completely differently and will move independently of each other on rough roads and when flexing the vehicle. Something will end up breaking or cracking over time.
Exactly what i did built wise to my ranger, keeping it simple, compared to my ol patrol which had litterally everything over weight bulky😂. Dual battery, single draw same as yours haha built a lift up side compartment for my storage. 50L watee tank with a pressure pump against head board. 2inch lift, 285s. No bullbar or heavy shit bolted to it. Basic is better haha especially when i tow me camper also. Killer setup! Has you fuel econ jumped up a bit. I spose amything around 10L per 100 is better then the A v8 petrol haha.
Yeah it has mate she’s around 9.5 now 😂😂 I still can’t get used to this fuel economy, basic is definitely better mate I’m going to have to look at suspension at some point in the rear for the weight
I have now changed this mate was putting to much stress on the bar on the body now it’s got a flat tray which extends out further and it’s a much better setup
Nice build bro. Just curious how the standard suspension is holding up with the load so far? Im looking at a next gen as my next car. They say they increased rear spring loading aye? Thinking of keeping things real simple like this one.
Noted, yeah i had to go +300kg in the rear and 100 in the front on my dmax. Looking at upgrading to the ranger, I like the simplicity of your set up. I see in the more recent posts you went to rims and 285s was it? What offset did you have to run with them? @@4x4CampingandAdventures
Love it mate, nice and simple can't wait to see that pantry set up. Any issues with the RTT mounted to the cab and to the canopy in regards to movement of the body?
Great video. How do you find the maxliner canopy for letting in dust over the summer? Cause i noticed that it doesnt come with a positive air vent. Also are you planning on making the side pantry for your window yourself or buying something? Cheers
Planning on making something mate when I get around to it 🤣 and yeah the canopy is pretty clean mate not much dust gets in I do have the front window cracked to let some air through

Agreed that’s why I’m going a rack real soon to keep it separated thanks for watching mate

Looking forward to having a look around the rig at camp, beer in hand brother. Can check the car out afterwards too!!
😂😂😂 sounds like a plan brother
I like how it's comin' along and would be interested in seeing the spotlight performance at night.
I’ll see what I can do still got to wait for my Stedi dash switch’s so I can hook it all up
Perfect simple setup
Thanks mate!
I see you bolted it down both the canopy and the cab roof. Anything you have done to the mounts to allow the flex between the cab and canopy?

At the moment shes struggling with the extra weight mate but its got about 250kg over the rear

Hey mate they are +25 ROH assaults and yeah I love the simplicity of it!
See your 12v set up. Would that work on Px2 2016 model. The switch panel etc. Lovely and neat.
No idea mate I have never owned another model of ranger so I’m not familiar with them.
Love it mate, nice and simple can't wait to see that pantry set up.

None so far but it won’t be a long term thing I have a rack on order which will be much better
looking great Brayden, these builds take time
Time and patience to get it right mate!
Hi there I am putting a arb roof top tent canopy and awning on my next gen ranger do you have any issues with weight ?? Cheers
No issues at all mate it’s still great to drive
Love the build! Thanks for the support legend 🤘🏽🏴☠️
Keep killing it
How much weight can the rtt take?
What’s the load rating of the canopy
150kg dynamic 300kg static
I like it!
Thanks dad

Great video mate, like the simplicity.
I could be totally wrong, but i thought wheel spacers were illegal in Australia?
Honestly I have no idea I have never looked up the legality of spacers?
Looking schmick!
About as Schmick as your new hoodies! Thanks mate
