In an impromptu match,the opponent may try to get an unequal or unfair advantage by grabbing your hand so as to be able to squeeze your fingers painfully. Am I correct that in an "official" match as in a tournament with a referee,the referee is supposed to see that the contestants have a proper grip or clasp between the contestants before he lets the match begin?
