  • In this video, we hike to the dangerous and very unpopular Cochrans Falls in Dawsonville, Georgia. This is tied for the 2nd largest waterfall in Georgia, but why does nobody go? Find out in this video and be more prepared in case you decide to give it a try!
For our first hike in Dawson forest, besides the vast spiders, we were pleased with its nature!

Great Video guys! I am glad the spiders were not too much ;) This is def a hike for good balance, it looked off trail for a majority of the trail. Beautiful drone of the falls.

What a fascinating video. Love the narrator and beautiful environment seems well worth the trek - the spiders not so much.

Not quite to the top, if you go to the right near the stone face you can continue further up. It connects to another trail coming up from Amicalola Falls on the other side

    I could never trust that rope 😬....but I'm just a scardy-cat who's afraid of heights 🫣

Great video yall, take it from a guy who spent decades on GA Mountains, check out Raven Cliff Falls, it would make a great video and challenge for you guys. The Chinabee Trail is another just over the Alabama border that has wild history and is super remote and beautiful.

Do you know any of the history on chinabee trail?

The Chinnabee Silent Trail is the perfect hike that showcases the beauty of the Talladega National Forest. The 6 mile moderate to difficult trail was constructed in 1977 by Boy Scout Troop 29 from the Alabama Institute for the Deaf and Blind in Talladega. Beginning at Lake Chinnabee, the trail winds beside Cheaha Creek and ends 6 miles at Caney Head atop Talladega Mountain. It is popular because of the spectacular views of flowing streams, rock outcroppings, and waterfalls.@@buildthedream77

The state of Georgia should maintain and develop this trail more.

I love the way the trail and falls is in its current state. That’s what makes it special compared to all the others. I sincerely hope it never changes.
