Most woodworking videos like this have people using thousands of dollars of machinary, I love how you've done all this with the sort of kit most of us average Joes have got. Great job!
I`ve always found it amazing to watch a fine craftsman work. And here is one good example of that. Great work. I am self an archer so it made these two videos is even a notch better. thanks for sharing.
NICELY DONE! Both the design and the workmanship look very good. I predict that this handsome riser will serve you well for many, many years. Best, Chris
I don’t know which is better the manufacture of the bow or the tools that you made. I never thought of using a bow saw that way before but I will not forget now. I am going to put one in my toolbox!
unbelievable! your bow is beautiful, and looks strong! thanks for the video! I will try to make one. is it possible to send me plans with measurements?
Congratulations! Great! But: Is there a "step-by-step"-version of this video? (Especially to tell me where exactly to mark the piece of wood for further carving and sanding? )
How to measure and set up for and cut out arrow shelf for my riser. Should it be a little more then center to allow for the shelf padding I started my first riser after watching you. I don't have printer that works so I had to eyeball any help would be great.
That pallet wood had some nice quality though... I made a entire takedown bow myself, using old skis and making a riser by using wood clue and scandinavien wood (don't know the translation...) It's my own design and I used no templates but i have to admit that your model looks much nicer and cleaner...
can you use this method to make a take down long bow and make it with arrow center soo fly straight please get back with i wright to others and they dont answer

Basic? I made a bow handle just with a victorinox knife

If there isn't a video it didn't happen.
This is an awesome build and I admire the work. That said, the most impressive part of this is the DIY belt sander. That's just genius.
I never want these video's to end. Great stuff so far
Amazing work with not fancy tools!
Très bon tuto, bien expliqué clairement , il ne manque rien.

I love the sounds of carpentering tools.

I think this is why standard bow is expensive 😂😂
Ya me animo a hacer mi propio arco
i subscribed, i'm interested on how you make the limbs
Nice job. Would you provide the drawings/plans/templates of all bow parts?
