Man I've a Berkley fire flex 7 foot, I originally bought it for bass, but last night by accident( on a river) realised that teamed up with my little daiwa sweepfire reel is the nicest rod & reel combo I've EVER owned 👌
That was a good session bro! We caught some nice fish! Well in! 😊 can't wait for the next one! That rod looks really good! Got the new line in the spool now so hopefully no more birdnests on the next session🤜🏼🤛🏼

Owed AbuGarcia rod and hated it honestly felt cheaper than my cheaper rods it snapped one day while travelling. My all time favourite rod was ugly stick elite II owed in Canada. I have really old spinning rod here in Ireland worth almost nothing and it’s caught more fish than you could imagine and many different species. I’ve recently bought Dam Stik trout rod similar price range to this rod and think will do job just fine. Will invest in boat next.
@Damopatrick I own 2 Abu Garcia rods at the moment, a ProMax for over 3 years is just a work horse, used it for heavier pike lures over the rod rate and never had an issue! Recently bought the Venerate and so far been enjoying it. I own a Ugly Stik GX2, beast of a rod!
Was a good one man, probably just 2lb but still a really good perch 😁 theres 4lb+ there though! Yeah I hear a lot of people saying that, I'll wait until I catch a big pike with it to see what happens 😅 thanks for watching man 🤜🤛
