I love the 6 wheeled Trryell, the first year shape was better looking, but this is still very great. Also Lauda's Ferrari was the best looking Ferrari. I worked in F1 in1978, sadly the cars were not quite as beautiful, except the Brabham and the Lotus 78, the days when cars were real cars, individual and gear boxes. Unlike today's Thanks for the video, Gratzi
worked in f1 in 1978, can you describe what did you do back then. and i agree, these are much more of a machine then today's f1. i do structural repair's on airplanes, old and new, metal works and advance composites, probably not all that different
ahh i was just wondering, because my dad works for classic team lotus.. not sure what car he was looking after this year. but sometimes i go with him, and i just didn't recognise the helmet in the lotus 77 :)
I know that chassis and engines (especially Ford Cosworth) are original with something new to make the race. Naturally Ferrari World Champion ex Niki Lauda '75 or '76 racing circuit in Monaco in the rain, not exactly the same as which is in the Ferrari museum in Maranello ...
That was Race Cars!! Every Car has an real Nice Sound. Not like this Shit What they Call Formula One Today. Every Car looks like the other. The Sound is The same. But The Old School Cars....Man...every Car has an Sound where You hear,If It was a Ferrari,Minardi,Lotus,Tyrell or BRM. Every Car looks different. You can see The Form of this Cars...What can i say....AMAZING SPORT IN THE 70's to 80's
Just to clarify some things: These so called historic F1 cars are just replicas, like those fake prestigious watches. Look at them and you'll see these seems freshly "baked" out of the factories/workshops. Look at the tires, much narrower than those fitted on the genuine F1 cars of the era.
These are restored cars, checked by technicians who detect the history of the car, if it is not original does not race, according to the categories run with the same tire sizes of the time, but obviously the tires are current, with compounds and design of current construction, obviously they are more performing and safer. To experience the same sensations and emotions of that era, you have to go back in time ...
+Serban Alexander Manea ..but with todays technology its much more easier and cheaper to build spareparts than back in the 70s. i think they have plans and knowhow to build there own parts.

I was in Monaco for the 92 F1. God I miss Those f1 cars!
A lot of extremely iconic cars in here.
It would be awesome to see this in person.
this looks very exciting, different crazy models of f1 racing together..
that Tyrell P34 is so sexy, wish today F1 would allow 6wheel cars...
the real F1 sounds
Gosh they're so much gorgeous than today's F1
the sound is beautiful
bellissimo video !!! sono tornato indietro nel tempo
Now we just need two drivers' recreating James Hunt and Nicki Lauda's rivalry on the track! haha

6 wheeled f1 looks almost like a battle robot
So many different looking cars. Unlike today
if senna was still living, he would own and driven that nr12 ferrari from niki lauda! i am sure of that!
Awesome
Dose 6 wheels cars spend more time in the pit changing tires?
+William Peng no, they change the tires simultaneously. They just need a few more mechanics
+William Peng th-cam.com/video/-kytXyIWDWg/w-d-xo.html
no
was the real event , not movie stages, Was the sunday's final F1 and F3. Movie by I-Phone
Was the sunday's final F1 and F3. Movie by I-Phone 4

I wish all classic cars to race in present year which is now.

The odd-looking 70s cars seems to be most collected.
I wonder where they still find those tyres nowadays...
who was driving nikki laudas 312 t2?
A lot people inside the pit and box. Diferent teans sharing the box area, unbelieving for this days..

do you know who was driving that lotus 77?
The guy in the #11 Ferrari has the helmet of Jacky Ickx ! Was he driving ?
Philippe Vercruyssen Absolutely no )))
I saw on some WebSite, that cars are not the official, they are replicas, for a possible accident.
The portuguese driver of the car number 38 has the helmet with the lion of the great football club: SPORTING LISBON!

Avon produces tires with vintage measures and appropriate compounds. I know a seller if you are intrested
Was this event staged for the movie Rush? Or is there really a classic F1 racing series?

OMG how did they have the guts to race them? So easy to damage those beautiful cars, especially at Monaco.
right? and they were more delicate than current ones... real beauties
And It's not like you can find spare parts somewhere. I don't think so.
+Serban Alexander Manea. you're right. certainly not for a shell, and certainly not for these rare 6 wheels!

i think they have plans and knowhow to build there own parts.
they are made by a tyre company called avon
It's nice to see this. But what if they crashed them?
they would rebuild them
3:48 Wrong rear wing?????
If only that was Niki himself driving the 312. But a good fake Jacky Ickx i sfine too.
