I feel this method is not safe. You can hurt your hand which is holding the drill. The spinning plastic band can hit your legs as its end is not visible when spinning. The drill machine can become loose as your hand gets tired. It is safer to fix the drill with a clamp, to a strong pvc,wooden or metal handle. You have also to fix a switch on the handle. Wear shoes or sneakers while cutting grass to avoid injuries to your legs. You need a long wired extension board so as to reach the end of the garden. Wear gloves and clear goggles to be extra safe. A drill is normally around 850W and has a high RPM. That makes it very dangerous if carelessly used.
