I'm pretty sure people forget that Jason is amped from the Lazarus pit so whilst he may not be as physically strong as Slade he can definitely hold his own.
Most writers don't think that a permanent strength boost from the Lazarus pit is even a thing. For one thing, Jason is closer to Bruce physically despite his age compared to the more acrobatic build Dick has. Not only did Bruce once push Jason to fight him hand-to-hand and punch Bruce so hard all Bruce could do was stand while Jason walked away, in the Injustice timeline Jason made his vigilante entrance in his MID-twenties, and he beat both Batman and even Wildcat in a fight. And another, Jason has the ability to on occasion go Liu Kang on people's asses with his All Blades, so he's more used to fighting people with higher tier reflexes, speed and strength, although even he admits he can't fight a mid tier amazon directly, and he can do it only for brief periods of time, otherwise he's not doing it. One time he goes mystic ninja on people is when he rushed a superman-tier giant on War World being grappled by Mongol 2 and cut his legs. Slade also admits his stats are also slightly weakened due to a prior comic, but not enough to lose to someone he initially thought was a rookie, but wasn't.

It is quite an interesting fight between these two. You have Slade who is a super soldier with military training and this new armor that protects him from Superman's punches. Then there's Red Hood who was trained by Batman and resurrected by Ras Al Ghul and later trained by him.

did you not watch the video?? The catch is outright stated. Slade is poisoned and just went through hell in lexcorp. And then red hood jumped him. Against anyone in the bat family Slade can't overcome that. At full strength, he usually beats Bruce and Jason. Dick just recently overcome him and I think can officially be stated as better. I'd say Dick is probably the outright best combatant nowadays in the family. With Jason being the strongest and Cass being the most skilled. And of course theres still Bats himself, the most well rounded.

I like to think Redhood could still come out on top had Deathstroke not have been weakened. May not be as clean, but he doesn't use restraint like Batman does. One of the reasons Deathstroke comes out on top most of the time (he said so himself). Hence why in Arkham Origins, Batman was able to beat Deathstroke because he wasn't holding back (this is demonstrated when Deathstroke uses the remote claw to try and hit Batman with gas tanks, and Batman catches them and throws them back at Deathstroke).

He has two eyes, he’s deaged, and is given brown/black hair just because of CW’s Arrow, despite Slade always being canonically blonde. And when asked why he’s not blonde after being deaged, the author of the run said ehhh he just has dark hair now.
It really was holy crap. So thankful that Rebirth Deathstroke brought him back to his former glory. Honestly even made him an even better character than he already was.
Slade’s healing factor being nerfed is huge since it’s actually more like an “adaptation factor” as it adapts to various phenomena so he can’t be hurt by it again or as badly. A much tamer version of Doomsday’s healing factor.
If I'm not mistaken, Slade in this moment was really far from his best state, he had been poisoned I think. Slade already defeated Red hood in a Titans comic without much difficulty, he's obviously stronger than him.
Slade had few encounters before this fight and he got poisoned which slowed down his healing factor so he wasn’t at his best however this is still an impressive feat for red hood no doubt.
He lost and it was a pretty fast fight and that was always Red hoods plan he just needed him to leave himself open and at the end Deathstroke did just that Red hood plans things out as well just like Batman
