I sometimes miss "doing the bare minimum". As a freelancer I give my 130% to all clients, all day, everyday. I can't just "exist" and get paid. But asside from that, zero regrets! Having my own business was the best professional decision I ever made!

I love that you found your "ideal working time" So many people are like "you gotta wake up at 4am to be productive blah blah" when in reality everyone has a different rhythm and there's nothing wrong with that! 💖💖

No never. I felt i was wasting my time working a job. I hated asking for time off. I knew my job and was bored as hell. With my own company in the beginning the money was lower but i still worked my job. The moment i was earning more thany job, i quit. I love being creative and have enough work. And make my own time. ❤

Does anyone else think that Latasha is reading their mind, like I'll hit a bump in my business and then BOOM she uploads exactly what I'm questioning. And her explanation to everything is always soooo clear and concise.

Thanks for your honesty. People need to hear more than the rosey side of things. You are more authentic. I am dealing with micro-aggression, and I am looking forward to leaving that behind.

Latasha I hear you about office culture and the lack of professionalism. They will say or do things that are not conducive to a professional standard. Thank you for telling us your experience.

I don't know why there are so less views, you deserve much more... everything resonated so well, loved the "professional" vibe..

"i'm very introverted, i'm not a very social person."
really hard to believe this considering your social skills on this video are off the charts.

Totally agree with all of this. Great video. I wish I would have stayed at my job a bit longer because now that I own my own business I have to wait 2 years before I am able to prove to the bank I am making consistent income for a mortgage which slightly messed up my "life plans but maybe it's meant to be that way....

I know 100% I’m not going to regret leaving my job in a couple years! I’m grateful to have one of my good friends teaching me how to get my money working for me in addition to getting debt free! I cannot wait to leave the corporate life and completely work for myself and impact others!

I'm about to leave my day job and your past fears regarding questioning yourself on whether you are just trying to get out of the corporate setting with a cheat code aka "imma start a business to escape" is REAL.... I think what shakes a lot of people out of their comfort zone is realizing that they are in a toxic environment for the most part because a lot of people that I talk to it's not really the money because you can remedy that with extra hours or overtime, It's usually the toxic people who are superior over you who push you out. Personally even though I know I'm being pushed out at least of my team, starting a business that I have a true passion in and can't wait to get started doing, still makes me a little nervous because my pay is pretty good and the benefits from my company is superb. Trying to match that on my own is a little scary but I'm so done with my experience that I'm willing to risk it and just go for it :-) thank you for your Insight and reassurance Latasha. 👌🏾😊

I’m glad I clicked on your video because I can relate to this. I have been in my Wilderness Season for 3 years. No JOB, No Car living with my parents at this moment and plus I have a 3 year old daughter. But GOD is so Amazing He really been providing for Us! ❤ Eveytime I use to try to go apply for jobs, I had this feeling coming over me (Which I believe it was the LORD) making me feel as tho I was doing something wrong and stepping out of GOD’s Will. Every door was closing and as soon as I thought I had something going 💥boom💥Another door closed so I fell into like a depression stage, but I tell you what, Now I see that the LORD is taking me through this for a reason! I stop worrying bout my situation and gave it to GOD. And now I’m at peace but sometimes it can get overwhelming but I know GOD is in the Mist. I just put my trust and my focus on HIM and In HIM!!!

I wonder about loneliness when starting a business.....i'm not into office culture but i feel that the vast majority of my friends in my adult years were colleagues of mine at some point.

Excellent perspective and content here!! I’ve wondered if it’s normal to feel remorse for quitting an “easy” job that pays well but is toxic culturally or just draining.

as someone who's never had a "real job" (quotation marks necessary because I'm not playing around all day lol) I'm seeing this as a "things that sound good - but not good enough to get a job" 😂
