      Model Y. Better for my family of 4.

      Hi Brandon. Just sent you an email. I am actually getting a Demo Model Y with just 1200 miles on it. Is this a good idea? Anything I should look for please. Thank you for your great videos. Cheers!

      @@BrandonDriver Oh sorry Brandon. For some reason I never got notification of your reply and just checked my email and saw your response. I took delivery yesterday. Just couple of things I want to mention here. There was a chip on the passenger side of the front window which Tesla said they will fix and I have a service appointment for that. One thing I have a question about is, when I looked at the recent tab in navigation, it showed Florida city, Winnipeg among other places. Does this mean this car was driven to Florida city and Winnipeg? Thank you again for taking time to respond back. Cheers.

    I ordered the model Y long range and on the first day I’m upgrading to acceleration boost which is 4.2 same as the Model 3.

      Awesome! I love the Y, I would be trading in my 3 for one if I wasn't anticipating the Cybertruck next year.

    Great video thanks! I finally had my first test drive. I chose the Y and I was very happy overall. For me the 3 was too low. I loved the way the MY handles the road. All decisions made MYLR blue with white interior. Induction wheels. Next is ordering when NJ refunds $5000 rebate(July)

      Thank you C Worden! Choosing the Y for it being taller and its handling is exactly how I feel about it too. Don’t forget to use a referral code when you order!

    Performance is not just 0-60 times and top speed. It is also how it feels driving curvy, narrow country roads. Both cars hold a curve because of their low center of gravity, but my test drive of both models convinced me that the Model 3 is more fun to drive. I'm 5'6" and I have no trouble getting in and out of my twenty one year old BMW M Coupe, so the Model 3 is just as easy to get into, if not more so.

    • @BrandonDriver
      @BrandonDriver  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      True! Handling is very important, and you can definitely feel it more in the Model 3.

  • @brianfarley4372

    I'm going with the Y because of the additional room and large, uninterrupted panoramic roof. And there's something cool about the rear being pressed from the 'megacast'. It just seems like a better engineered vehicle.

    • @BrandonDriver
      @BrandonDriver  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Didn’t even mention the huge cast piece in the Model Y production line, I think it’s super cool too.

    The model Y is what I'm leaning towards right now because of ground clearance and the extra space, but as soon as tesla brings out the cyber truck that may change my mind

    A couple of other small points. You mentioned that the Model 3 is sportier, but just to expand on that, it will definitely handle better on twisty roads due to being smaller and lower to the ground. The view out of the rear window is much better in the Model 3. Apart from being tall, the Model Y will be easier to enter and exit for those that are older or those with mobility issues.

    • @BrandonDriver
      @BrandonDriver  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      True! Thank you for pointing this out. There are other safety reasons sitting in a taller car is better too, but especially for elderly and mobility-restricted drivers.

      @@BrandonDriver Not getting bored here man! I personally like watching videos about 10-15 mins long while I wash my dishes (and I heard just after ten mins is a TH-camr $ sweet spot FYI). I am in line to get a Cybertruck here in Ontario CANADA. Would love to see you make a video about what might be the biggest benefits of the Cybertruck vs a Model Y/3 purchase. Thanks again.

    Thank you for great video. Makes me feel even more confident with my decision to get the Y which is scheduled for delivery in just three days! While I have been shopping for different accessories for it already, the one thing I am a little anxious about is all this I hear about needing PPF and ceramic coating immediately. Which, seems to translate into $2000 plus. And leaving your brand new car for a few days at a detail shop. What are your thoughts on this?

    • @BrandonDriver
      @BrandonDriver  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Congratulations on your Model Y! I entirely support getting PPF for your car. PPF and Ceramic are separate, I would call around your area and get a couple quotes. Shoot me a message if you'd like to chat more!

    Hi! I am in the market for a 2018 Model S or a 2021 Model 3 ... I love the aesthetic of the S... But was wondering which one would you recommend? Does the 2018 Model S have the newer technology? Or would I be missing all that? Thanks!! :D

    Model Y stiff ride is the biggest issue and a complete deal breaker for me

    @evfocusnow1498 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Great comparison review and you know Brandon you made such a good point that I always wonder about. After a top speed of 135 does it really matter what the top speed of a EV is as who the hell is driving anywhere near 150 mph. LOL

    • @BrandonDriver
      @BrandonDriver  3 ปีที่แล้ว
