@@julienp9078 you must of gone to some unusual places in Austria. I never ate mock cream anywhere and visiting family in steirmark all villages I visited had exquisite tasting cakes. I suppose it comes down to what your tastes are.
Paris is a city where everything seems to be a work of art; from the architecture, interior design, fashion, all the way to the storefronts and bakeries. My mom took me to see Paris when I was 19 years old, and it changed me forever. Thank you so much for your excellent videos and for including the metro stations.

I am always amazed at how the food presentation in France has meticulous attention to detail. Even their "casual" dishes look like haute cuisine. I can honestly say in my 45 years of travel to Paris I have never had a bad meal. 😋
I’ve had many bad meals in Paris, even when I used to eat meat. They used to treat vegetarians with disdain, so god knows what they’d be like for vegans. I hope it’s improved.

I love it! Go two blocks off the tourist street and look for a bakery! (Some are even closer!) You will never be disappointed! Les formules are always good values! (The food will be wonderful and the time saved might be priceless, when on a tight schedule! I think this is true throughout Europe.)

My husband and I spent 5 days in Paris this October. Your videos on the Metro was so helpful. We will be back in May for 7 days and we are making a list of all the different foods we want to try from your great videos! I’m honestly hoping we run into you both while we are there!!
My family and I just returned from Paris. I watched all of your videos prior to our trip and you were a great help. The experience was amazing and enhanced by your tips and information. I was able to Navigate the metro, RER and buses like a pro. I had an idea of cuisine and what to expect and I took French lessons for a few months prior to the trip. While we didn't experience any of these particular locations, the food we did experience in Paris was amazing! Some of the best food we had was at Chez Papa close to the Pantheon and Catacombs area.
They certainly benefited our trip. Have a great time. Google maps is your friend for transportation, should you need a taxi, we had great success with Heech. Enjoy!

I’m really appreciating all these cheap eats videos. I travel alone and only have a few days in paris on my way to somewhere, so sitting down in a restaurant for a two or three hour lunch just isn’t any fun. This is the way to go. Thank you. I noticed that you seem to only focus on sandwiches, but I saw lots of other dishes in some of the shots in this video. Could you please review other foods that are available for those of us who don’t eat a lot of bread? I go I to a place and get overwhelmed, translating in my head and not really knowing what those dishes are.

In fact in Paris you can grab some food like in this video in every boulangerie . It’s our street food culture. You will find a menu under 10€ in all of them (almost). It’s always our first choice for a place to eat something quick and good.

On the rare occasion that I travelled (no money for it now - 😥) I got the fastest food (not THAT "fast food"!), going to a local General Store, or deli, "somewhere in Vermont"... No need to sacrifice quality, even on the go! We want to keep walking until we drop, and getting a quick meal, so we don't have to stop!

OMG! When you squeezed the baguette that came with Gauloise Salad at L’Essentiel Anthony Bosson, my mouth watered!! My favorite things in Paris are the cheap but so good lunches…the baguette jambon fromage…the other is a gyro sandwich from la huchette in the university area…!!!

I recommand to try the "French Bastards" bakerys ! There are a few, one is located in Pigalle, which is perfectly located in between the Sacrée Coeur and the Moulin Rouge. They have traditional pastries but also news ones, that look very trendy and taste super good ! The salty caramel éclair is worth a visit !
Okay, now I'm hungry and missing Paris! It's impossible to narrow down the best to 10, there are so many wonderful boulangeries. Please do a part deux. Some of our favorites are The French Bastards (best sandwiches in Paris), Du Pain et des Idées (everything), and Vandermeersch (kugelhopf).
I found it totally unnecessary to even think of finding "the best 10" in Paris-the general standard is so high that they are almost all great, if they are not, they are not able to go into or in business; most have been in business for a very, very long time.
Hi guys , my wife and I have just been to Paris for the very 1st time and I used your videos for tips and ideas , The only problem we had was gard da nore to cdg , have you done a video on this cus I couldn’t find it ? The problem we had was 1st tickets we followed rer b no problem but the ticket machines near the barrier’s didn’t seem to sell airport tickets we had to backtrack to find machines that sold them , other problem was we didn’t know there were 2 trains that run on the rer b line , one to the airport and 1 to I have no idea good job my wife spotted it was running up the wrong spur so we bailed out at stade da France and waited for the following train which was cdg , maybe worth doing a video for this route for us novices , keep up the good work
The dessert of the "cupcake" at Boulangerie Alexin sandwich looks good, and the dessert with the chocolate sauce is a dessert which seems like a good cooking idea, as well as a dessert - however - I've got to wonder how good that bakery is - at least some of their ingredients are, when they're using Nuttela!! That "stuff" is mostly sugar and palm oil - (compared to, e.g. Schlotterbeck and Foss Fudge Sauce [ AKA "S & F"] - just add your favorite nut butter, and a little more sweetened cream and you've got something quite special! I have, and would not buy Nuttella - sorry to be a little "picky"! But you've presented a very entertaining video!! I'm so glad you got to travel to that large City!!

Chez papa is a very good choice, good value for money. On top of that it is food from the south west of France. Good job !

I found it totally unnecessary to even think of finding "the best 10" in Paris-the general standard is so high that they are almost all great, if they are not, they are not able to go into or in business; most have been in business for a very, very long time.

Hi guys , my wife and I have just been to Paris for the very 1st time and I used your videos for tips and ideas , The only problem we had was gard da nore to cdg , have you done a video on this cus I couldn’t find it ? The problem we had was 1st tickets we followed rer b no problem but the ticket machines near the barrier’s didn’t seem to sell airport tickets we had to backtrack to find machines that sold them , other problem was we didn’t know there were 2 trains that run on the rer b line , one to the airport and 1 to I have no idea good job my wife spotted it was running up the wrong spur so we bailed out at stade da France and waited for the following train which was cdg , maybe worth doing a video for this route for us novices , keep up the good work
The dessert of the "cupcake" at Boulangerie Alexin sandwich looks good, and the dessert with the chocolate sauce is a dessert which seems like a good cooking idea, as well as a dessert - however - I've got to wonder how good that bakery is - at least some of their ingredients are, when they're using Nuttela!! That "stuff" is mostly sugar and palm oil - (compared to, e.g. Schlotterbeck and Foss Fudge Sauce [ AKA "S & F"] - just add your favorite nut butter, and a little more sweetened cream and you've got something quite special! I have, and would not buy Nuttella - sorry to be a little "picky"!

You're correct: Since most people eat Nuttella as a treat - it's very popular - it is highly recognizable and would, therefore be used even in the better Boulangeries!
