I don’t know if anybody noticed but when the splash image of Void appears, you can see that the background of the splash image was from Kirby dreamland 3 when you face the last boss! That was the first thing I pointed out before I fought him. They out did themselves with this installment.

You know, Void's battle might have been more of an emotional experience if I wasn't spamming Flamberge's Mega Broiler and screaming as all of my allies die.
Astral Birth Void is...well, how should I put it. Since there is positive and negative influence, it can’t decide which to be. However, when the music reaches a more sorrow tune, Void is choosing a path or something. Then, the smile at the end means it is no longer in the darkened, negative influence, and turns into the Original form of Kirby, or so a reincarnation of Original Kirby. However, that’s just my thoughts. Edit: I forgot a bit more. If you notice it, the face is usually a face that resembles Kirby (Influenced by Positive, Purity), or Dark Matter (Influenced by Negative, Corruption). Most of Void’s attacks are resemblance to the other Dark Matter attacks, such as Dark Mind’s Phase 2 Shard Mirrors/Mirror Laser, Drawcia/Sectonia Soul’s Fireball, the 4 way cutter from Marx, and more. Although it isn’t confirmed, this type would likely mean that Void can summon attacks through some sort of memory, or a pass down of attacks through generation. And if that isn’t enough, you have Void Termina having wings like 02, or summoning the Master Crown (With True Destroyer Void Termina summoning more than one at a time), like the one that Magolor used to wear. Tie all this up, and we get something that goes like, “Void had all these things as some sort of memory or manifestations of it. Through the influence of negative and positive, it combined some, turned negative to positive, and vice versa, it would have summoned these as a real thing into the world, and left then there, with negative or positive energy.” Welp, that’s all I have to say.
In Japan, some people said that Void is Popopo. Popopo was the original main character of the Kirby series, but was updated into Kirby. He had a catch phrase as follows. 「君を見ていると、ずっと昔からおともだちだった気がするよ。」 “Every time we see you, we feel as if we have known you for a long time as a friend.”
On the Japanese splash screen of void, the description is 星誕， meaning the birth of star. Also it is noteworthy that during Void's theme, about six min since the start of battle, it turns into 8 bit.
Basicaly: The Void Termina that is figthed on the Story Mode doesn't has enougth power and capacity to become a "Kirby", because Hyness just used himself instead of the remaining Jamba Hearths. The Void Termina in the Ultimate Choice has enougth capacity to keep and have a Soul. The last Void Termina is the 100% complete form that the Ancients defeated in the past, possibly creating Kirby/Gooye/Meta Knight/Galacta Knigth and that the Star Allies figthed in the secret Ultimate Choice. The last form of Astral Void Termina (The name of this version of Void Termina) is powerful enougth to have a Soul that concentrates all of Astral Void Termina's power and become the "secret face" Kirby. He smiles when is defeated because he becomes finaly Friendly. *THE MORE YOU KNOW!*

I beat Soul Melter EX today by healing myself during the battle when Void was doing that fireball thing. I literally made my dog look at me all concerned when I finally beat this blob of hell. I’m proud.

So by your theory Kirby's real end would be something like: meta Knight "corrupts" into dark matter, and a more mature kirby give the final slash before the "corruption" completes.Thus becoming the "new meta knight"

If you can survive long enough, you hear Void's other music mainly with the piano playing the notes. Seems obvious, but if you wait awhile longer, the song loops but a smidge of retro is kicked in. This occurs with the third loop as well, but it's the majority of the song that sounds retro. Fourth loop, I guess, gets cut somewhere in order to play the first loop of you know what I'm talking about.

Alright I’m just going to throw this out there: What if Void Termina is just an extraordinarily powerful Dark matter? It’s core assumes multiple forms, but it’s most powerful attacks are the beams it fires while it looks like a dark matter. At the end of story mode, Void Termina reverts to this Dark Matter form as a last ditch defence, and we already know that it’s possible for Dark Matters to gain other forms (Zero, the other Zero, Gooey) so this wouldn’t be as much of a stretch as it may seem. Perhaps this super powerful Dark Matter is what caused Galacta Knight to become corrupted, or maybe Morpho Knight was the original and Void Termina separated Galacta and the butterfly. Perhaps Void Termina’s large body/ shell was meant to shield it from the influence of other Dark Matter hive minds. Who knows?
This Boss has so many references and callbacks from previous Kirby entities (The one most people discovering being the Hyper Zone splash screen and the obvious fact it takes form of both Dark Matter and, of course, Kirby). But that’s not all! Occasionally, Void Termina’s eyes shrink and mouth stretch, referencing the form 02 takes before its final battle. At 0:37, it references Miracle Matter’s spike attack, and at 0:45, it references Drawcia Soul and the Grand Doomer’s attack. There’s a bunch more, even in it’s first phase, but I don’t think I could list them all in a comment,
SPOILER ALERT To these who don’t know about Void. They found out that the points 86555 means for Japanese Hello Popopo. Popopo is the old Kirby that turned into Void. Now that Void is purified Popopo is back to his positive state.
The thing that would always kill me on the void soul and void versions of this boss were the beams thats why i always had adeline and ribbon on my team because painting guard protects you from all kinds of damage it sucks that the take extra damage though and speaking of which adeline and ribbon are really underrated dream friends they are actually very helpful they have their friend ability snack time which heals you and they have a guard that protects them from literally everything the bad and kinda dumb part about them is they take extra damage
I disagree with the 4th wave but in a future Kirby game they'll make an even harder final boss fight. Final Boss > Soul Final Boss > Ultimate Final Boss > ??? Final Boss Basically in Video Games I see a lot of bosses take on some type of powerful enhanced forms like Final Fantasy Record Keeper where all the bosses goes with a deadly aura known as a Cursed (JP)/Ultimate (EN) then a special stage with another form Abyss (JP)/Nightmare (EN) or in other events with even powerful phases like Ruin (JP)/Apocalypse (EN) or Nemesis.

Void is an incarnation of Kirby or vice versa idk, but he definitely is related in some way, think about it, King Dedede and Meta Knight and others were corrupted by the darkness first, and had parallel versions of themselves (except for Morpho Knight, Hyness and the 3 Mages), but Kirby didn't, and he's the main character, can't get touched by darkness hence being granted the friend heart ability, pure light while void was pure darkness hence being summoned with nothing but darkness, that is until the friends defeat him
But there already is a Dark Kirby. In the dimension accessed by the dark mirror. And he’s a good guy. So here’s my theory: no matter the dimension, Kirby is always a pure moral anchor point. The parallel world in Star Allies had a Kirby, but they fell either during or before the threat of Void Termina’s resurrection.
So supposedly void can be good or bad...and when you beat the final version of astral birth, he smiles after he’s been defeated and is shrouded in light...I wonder if there was enough positivity to have him come back as a positive form

Can anyone explain to me about why Void's new battle theme becomes depressing as if Void is almost like Xion from Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days since both have sad music.
Void is now 100% confirmed to be Zero (from Kirby Dramland 3 and Kirby 64:Crystal Shards). Zero is depicted as the embodiment of all bad things and is also said to only feel the feelings of sadness and depression. I believe the music is sad to represent that. Also, Zero's theme on Kirby Crystal Shards also has a very depressing feeling to it.
Its kinda sad that the button mashing segment in the final part isn't in void soul or void. I imagine that each form progressively hits harder and requires faster mashes

If you can survive long enough, you hear Void's other music mainly with the piano playing the notes. Seems obvious, but if you wait awhile longer, the song loops but a smidge of retro is kicked in. This occurs with the third loop as well, but it's the majority of the song that sounds retro. Fourth loop, I guess, gets cut somewhere in order to play the first loop of you know what I'm talking about.

Alright I’m just going to throw this out there: What if Void Termina is just an extraordinarily powerful Dark matter? It’s core assumes multiple forms, but it’s most powerful attacks are the beams it fires while it looks like a dark matter. At the end of story mode, Void Termina reverts to this Dark Matter form as a last ditch defence, and we already know that it’s possible for Dark Matters to gain other forms (Zero, the other Zero, Gooey) so this wouldn’t be as much of a stretch as it may seem. Perhaps this super powerful Dark Matter is what caused Galacta Knight to become corrupted, or maybe Morpho Knight was the original and Void Termina separated Galacta and the butterfly. Perhaps Void Termina’s large body/ shell was meant to shield it from the influence of other Dark Matter hive minds. Who knows?
Isn't it hinted that Void is Kirby, just not influenced enough to emerge as a physical being??

This Boss has so many references and callbacks from previous Kirby entities (The one most people discovering being the Hyper Zone splash screen and the obvious fact it takes form of both Dark Matter and, of course, Kirby). But that’s not all! Occasionally, Void Termina’s eyes shrink and mouth stretch, referencing the form 02 takes before its final battle. At 0:37, it references Miracle Matter’s spike attack, and at 0:45, it references Drawcia Soul and the Grand Doomer’s attack. There’s a bunch more, even in it’s first phase, but I don’t think I could list them all in a comment,

The thing that would always kill me on the void soul and void versions of this boss were the beams thats why i always had adeline and ribbon on my team because painting guard protects you from all kinds of damage it sucks that the take extra damage though and speaking of which adeline and ribbon are really underrated dream friends they are actually very helpful they have their friend ability snack time which heals you and they have a guard that protects them from literally everything the bad and kinda dumb part about them is they take extra damage

Basically in Video Games I see a lot of bosses take on some type of powerful enhanced forms like Final Fantasy Record Keeper where all the bosses goes with a deadly aura known as a Cursed (JP)/Ultimate (EN) then a special stage with another form Abyss (JP)/Nightmare (EN) or in other events with even powerful phases like Ruin (JP)/Apocalypse (EN) or Nemesis.

Void is an incarnation of Kirby or vice versa idk, but he definitely is related in some way, think about it, King Dedede and Meta Knight and others were corrupted by the darkness first, and had parallel versions of themselves (except for Morpho Knight, Hyness and the 3 Mages), but Kirby didn't, and he's the main character, can't get touched by darkness hence being granted the friend heart ability, pure light while void was pure darkness hence being summoned with nothing but darkness, that is until the friends defeat him
But there already is a Dark Kirby. In the dimension accessed by the dark mirror. And he’s a good guy. So here’s my theory: no matter the dimension, Kirby is always a pure moral anchor point. The parallel world in Star Allies had a Kirby, but they fell either during or before the threat of Void Termina’s resurrection.
So supposedly void can be good or bad...and when you beat the final version of astral birth, he smiles after he’s been defeated and is shrouded in light...I wonder if there was enough positivity to have him come back as a positive form
In the English version it is called Astral Birth Void, but It seems that the name of the Japanese version of Kirby Star Allies called 星誕 ニル( Star Allies Nil )

Void is now 100% confirmed to be Zero (from Kirby Dramland 3 and Kirby 64:Crystal Shards). Zero is depicted as the embodiment of all bad things and is also said to only feel the feelings of sadness and depression. I believe the music is sad to represent that. Also, Zero's theme on Kirby Crystal Shards also has a very depressing feeling to it.
