A look at a Pioneer combo unit

A look at a Pioneer combo unit that is my wife's that she got brand new in 1990. Model DC-Z93. It has been sitting gathering dust in our basement since 2011. It needs a good cleaning inside and out. In the video I show the unit powered up and talk a little about the unit.

It is. However it's full of tar from cigarettes though.

I favor separates. The more stuff packed into a combo unit, the more stuff that can go wrong. I hope you can get this in working order. Not many combo units have Dolby C on the cassette portion.

I agree with the seperates. You can switch out things that aren't working or working well. I have 4 of these types of systems and each one has issues. I do want to get this particular one going because it is my wife's and she would like to see it up and running again.
