Thanks, man! It's such a niche market for these things. But those who use them love them! My current favorite is the Sony Bravia neck speaker. It sounds leagues above the rest, even the old bose one I still own. I would recommend the new Bravia Sony to anyone who is willing to spend the cash. Because so far it's the best sounding neck speaker I've heard, period. 😁👍🏾💯
@Rickandmorty_com It does have less speakers. But they made the main drivers 30 percent bigger and they apparently have more excursion. Therefore, they sound much more rich and deep than the NS7. I was skeptical as well at first. But the Bravias sound significantly better than the NS7s. 💯
I just did some research. I've never heard of them. But I'll be getting a pair to try them out. I'll have to do a short video. Thanks for checking out the video. 👍🏾
@@SteffenMcGeePCTPartyCentral Thank you, I'm on the fence between getting those Oledance speakers and the Sony SRS-NS7. I don't like anything inside my ears either, need something that will let me be aware of my surroundings when walking the dog.
@J.D. Vision I love the idea of the neck speakers. I keep them on all day long. Most of them shut off if they detect you're not using them for twenty minutes. Although the Sony is the most lax with that in my experience. It will stay on all day and not shut itself off to save the battery. I will say that the Sony has some of the most natural voice reproduction I have heard from any speaker, to be honest. They sound great. If they could just make them with a black covering, they would have stricken gold. Anyway, I hope you find the right product. I'll be trying out the Oladance just because my curiosity has been peaked now.
thanks for this review. do you still use the bose? how's the battery? my local shop has a sealed box of bose soundwear but it's been in storage for about 7 years, and im not sure if the battery would be ok or not, despite being new in box.
I do still use the Bose at work. It works great. It does still charge and hold a charge for a while. All my other neck speakers use the USB C now. The bose still uses the micro USB since it was never updated with a new version.
I just discovered neck speakers.. i cant stand anything in or on my ears directly. Thank you for your comparisons. Im waiting for a Bose from ebay but meanwhile sporting a Monster Boomerang. Hows the Bose bass compared to the Monster? Better, same, worse?
@chubsy The Bose has a very refined feeling and sounds deeper and fuller than the Monsters. However... the new champ that wasn't included in this video is the new Sony Bravia neck speaker. It's by far the fullest and best sounding neck speaker on the market. I was skeptical from the reviews on Amazon. But after owning one for a few months, I'm definitely going to get another one for work. It sounds great and the battery lasts a long time in comparison to the others.
@Rickandmorty_com The Bose did come new in a package. I paid close to $500 for it. With that said, it was a couple years ago. If the new Sony Bravia were out then, I don't believe I would have purchased the Bose. Sony addressed all the complaints I had about the NS7 with the Bravia. In my opinion, it now is the benchmark neck speaker, not the Bose.
🎉😂Bro appreciate your time, energy and comedy skit! "Sacrifice a kidney" 😂 for real though, good review and comparison. Just what I needed! 🎉🙏🏾

Check Mate. I was rollin'.
Very helpful review , thank you
Can you do a follow-up review comparing these to something like the Oladance Wearable Stereo, trying to figure out which sound better.
