I carry mine purely for self defence. 13,000 lumens in any attackers eyes is the most non lethal debilitating response one could ever imagine. I’ve only used it once, on a bear that strayed one step too close and it bolted into a tree as it fled.
Wow. You’ve used this on a bear? That’s insane! And I’ve been saying that for years about flashlights being a very underrated non lethal weapon for self defense. Very effective
@@ChrispyThings honest mate, the thing shit itself. I don’t think it was acting aggressive, more inquisitive than anything else. But the light was failing in the woods and I just didn’t want to have to worry about it. It went one way, I went the other and we both lived to fight another day. Great review by the way.
Thank you for the video. I totally agree needs to be a little bit longer and the desk get warm and doesn’t throw out that maximum light for too long but color where I am losing my eyesight and things are blurry. It really helps for lighting up an area looking for things I am just finding my path they were out of any of Them in the front yard, etc.
I own alot of flashliights and the MS03 is one of my favorite flashlights ! When I show my mates how bright the MS03 is. There shocked 😲 how bright this flashlight is for its size !!! If you buy this light you want regret it !!! Thanks for your review 😊
Well done, as always! That is a great little light. Amazing how much juice those little things can push out. I don't own this one yet, but I agree with your assessment. I prefer lights that are a little bit longer because I have very large hands, so I like something big enough to hold onto! But I bet they have some larger models as well, so maybe I'll look into one of those!
I returned mine and got a replacement for the red light of turbo death. Customer service told me there was a bad batch. Haven't had any issues with the replacement yet.
They apparently sent one to me a while back but got “lost” in the mail. That won’t send another one out for review, and I’m not going to spend 700 bucks on it. Lol
@@ChrispyThings Aww damn 100,000 lumens would have been a nice review. Though with the heat it gives off and the need for a built in cooling system you may have made a few.... Crispy things. Haha
I thought I misheard 13,000 lume but I didn't, it is indeed 13,000 lume. I agree, you need a longer body or they should at least back a glove with the light!
Dynamite Comes In Small Packages. The torch is packing some serious power, but I prefer smaller frame torches like the OLight S1R II Baton or similar sized lights. By the way, cool elevator music at the heat test; it's your trademark.
@@exotikinc3397 yes sideways, so it can sit at the bottom of a pocket and keys and wallet can sit on top. A flashlight vertically in the pocket inevitably ends up in the pocket diagonally, and that's not ergonomic for the other things sharing the same pocket
Ok, I figured out something VERY important with this flashlight. Absolutely make sure you use alcohol to clean every single contact on the inside of the flashlight and the threads. The turbo mode will stop functioning prematurely if you don't!
Chrispy Things it’s a known issue with this flashlight. The contacts have some sort of contamination and will make the turbo stop working until you unscrew the cap. Cleaning the contacts fixes it. If it stops again it’s because the battery needs to be recharged
At only 45s run time it's pointless... Impressive output, but still pointless for my needs. If I needed a light that's over 4,000 I'd probably need it for longer than 60 seconds. Hopefully run times will improve in the future.
10:35 "It needs to be a couple inches longer" A COUPLE INCHES?!?! that will like double its length, for an EDC? Absolutely not, how the hell do you put that in the bad section for an EDC 🤣🤣🤣
If you think 2 inches would double it’s length, you need to head back to second grade and relearn math partner. And how do I put that in the negatives? Rewatch my video and listen to the words that are coming out of my mouth carefully. Have a nice day.
Its a no go from me. Its now 2025 and there are better lights for much less on the market, go figure, right? Imalent should lower the price way below 129.
I live in the US and we use Fahrenheit. So no. I’ll measure it any way I want. How about this Champ, you buy this light, record a review on it and release it to your channel just so I can be a whiney little baby and complain that you didn’t include Fahrenheit in your video. 🤡🤫 (Oh and “next time, use google if you want to know what the Celsius conversion is instead of trying to tell the creator what to do. Little peepee i see
I have this one as well as many other Imalent products. They are the best and the brightest.
We have Imalent MS08, aroung 30.000 lm, amazing flashlight with fan coolers! you should try it

Nope

Heard that it is extremely heating up. Is that true?? And there is a red light issue??
Great material thanks for the review !!
Moving on to 21700s is somehow painful after being invested into 18650s, kind of like going from micro USB to type C but can't live in the past.

What do you think? Is this better than the fenix lr35r 10.000lm?
Tough one.
If I had to choose, I’d go with the LR35R
@Chrispy Things haha thanks i ordered the fenix lr35r so thats good to hear
I am undecided to buy this, or the Sure Fire stiletto ?
Great review. Thank you for all the information. Have you had issues with the turbo?
Of course he has, they were all faulty, most reviewers (Demonstrators) only care about commission.

excellent video production ... and, of course, great information .. .. ..

How does the ms03 compare to tm9k?
Much brighter

I have it and i love it. :D
Thanks for the review. Will definitely choose a cheaper more effective flashlight.
So after it gets to turbo, how long does it past there and what lumens does it drop to?
It literally explains that in the video.
I own these flashlight and it has given me some issues!! But it is insanely bright for its size !!!

In what way?

13k for 45 seconds. This needs an option for another battery.
In my test the step down started around 19 seconds. I couldn’t get the full 45 seconds of turbo they claim even on a full 21700.
