- Recently I have the privilege of being able to work with one of my favourite ever boot brands. They were the absolute pinnacle of what I wanted from a football boot in the late 90s and early 00s. They had some of my favourite players in the world wearing their boots and they were the forefront of innovation, doing things that other brands wouldn't even dream of until decades later. I still collect some of their current and retro boots to this day and a couple of pairs I have are amongst the most prized in my collection.

So, as you can imagine I was delighted when they contacted me to ask if I would make a video FOR THEM! That's what today's video is, it's the exact video that I made in order to showcase one of the most iconic boot lines of all time so that they could use it internally.
We've got the Lotto Stadio OG II, Stadio 200, Stadio 300 and the Lotto Stadio 705. The aim for the video was to provide Lotto with a comprehensive breakdown of the boots that could be helpful to them internally or for retailers. So while this is a review of the full Lotto Stadio line there is more facts and I haven't leant quite as heavily as usual into my own personal opinions. Of course there are some in there, I couldn't help myself.
Lotto did provide the boots for this video and specifically request it to be made, however, I was not paid for the video.

The quality of the OG is off the charts. I bought the White and Green special edition - it belongs in an art museum, but I’ve been playing in it. The upper is among the best I’ve experienced on a classic leather boot in terms of quality and shape/fit. I also think it offers a very good take on the classic sole plate and stud pattern, much better than what you find on a Copa Mundial or Diaddora Brasil. The only place where the boot let me down was in the heel. It’s just too wide - I need to wear grip socks and tie the laces around the back a la Roberto Donadoni to wear them in a match. And I went 1/2 size down so the upper is perfectly molded to my foot. I’m not sure whose heel is wide enough for that - it is comfy and plush but it lets down the rest of the boot in terms of performance. I also own a pair of 300s - it might be the best deal you can get on a k-leather boot. Its a total steal - I got mine on sale for an absurdly low price given the quality of the boot. It’s also very AG friendly, so it’s good to have in the bag when you’re not sure about the surface you’re playing on. Anyway, nice work Bootwizard. Glad to see you working with such an iconic boot maker!
It was great to work with Lotto, originally the boot wasn't intended for the channel so it's a bit different to what I usually do but it was cool to be able to share it.
I have the gold ones, lotto sent them as a thank you for making the video. I can't be tempted to wear them because they're too big so they'll stay as display item in my videos.
Didn't actually have any heel issues with the OG did a little with the 200 because of the heel counter being shallow. At least you've got an excuse to tie the laces behind like a 90s Italian legend 😂

Hey, so I technically don't do leather boots. Essentially Lotto sent these out to me to make a video specifically for them, it wasn't ever designed for the channel, as you'll see it's also not quite in the same format as a normal video, even the pacing is different. But after I'd given the video to Lotto they asked if it could go on the channel, so here it is. So I wouldn't say there are anymore leather boots coming anytime soon.
I do already have the synthetic Adler though, so that review is coming.

Those are the Luca Toni's that I bought, the ones you got are over my right shoulder, the red and yellow ones. They're even more limited.

Capolista is a pretty recent Lotto boot to be fair! Haven't seen one in ages. Fairly Tiempo esc. I'll keep an eye out.

You're also correct I don't do leather boots and originally this was only a video for Lotto to use internally so I didn't buy them and it wasn't for the channel. So I wouldn't expect any additional leather boots anytime soon. 😂
