- There is an updated video of the car with it's new engine on my page for all of those who got really attached to the pos during this video. Enjoy. I purchased the car for $125 and the engine had a knock due to the previous owner deciding to never change the oil. After many attempts to finish the engine, this is what worked. The engine was full of sludge oil and coolant was low in the reservoir but still visible. Due to the high pressures and heat, at the end of the video the heater core exploded as well. Overall, money well spent.
I love the energy here. Its my spirit animal reincarnated as a youtube video.
Pinned. Lmao
Check out my video of the dakota I have with a bed mount turbo as well then. Lol. Or the powerbrake

The car took a revenge at you. LOL
BUY ENGINE CHEVY 345 v8 !
YE
Yeah
Damn that engine put up a fight!
This is a correct way to warm your car up in the winter, the rocks help with the ice
@Brkicevik22 most defnitly
i try Salt, ,,
-Heater core has left the chat-
Bruhh sell engine as £3.500
This is great! I guess the head gasket blew and seriously pressurized the cooling system from all this abuse and the heater core was the weak link. The temp gauge definitely rose fast at the end!
She s on fire with head gasket 🚘
I'd have loved to hook a diagnostic scanner up to an engine after that to see what codes it had
Code rip bro
error code: yes
"New engine required, go screw yourself" is the one i think of first
Still a P0421
hahahah Holy Shit! That scared me lol. Good thing you didnt have the dash apart cause you wouldve gotten real bad burns from the heater core
Kyle Harm yeah I was actually really lucky. Haha. I jumped the hell out when it popped.
What happened tho, did the dash blow up?
The heater core exploded
Not great, not terrible. You shouldn't press the button AZ-5.
@@NikolaMatic987 Do you smell Metal?
I think you might have overfilled it with rocks. Rookie mistake, but hey, you live and you learn.
Ill get it right next time. Lol
Rockie* mistake
RIP engine 0 - 207,119
Luckily it received another and the cabrio lives on
What the hell? An automatic fire extinguisher?
2:46 me when a girl touches any part of my body
does it beep as well?
That's why you don't turn off overheated engine. That heater blowout is beautifull :D
It siezed up, technically it was shut off but I bet when the heater core exploded the key was still in the run position and the heater core only exploded because of most likely a hos failure
@@Noel4Lyfe Nope. It failed because of high pressure and no coolant flow
Agreed, that ending was totally worth a buck twenty five!
The only thing that would have topped it was a fuel explosion.
Maybe next time :D
*check engine pops up*
One tough little bastard that, wasn't going down easy.
This is awesome.
I mean when you purposely blow one of the worlds most bullet proof 8v engines, I'm not surprised the heater core blew up its a form of punishment
HA, that really was a surprise ending for sure. Not at all what I expected!
Cool effect though, looks like a scene from a movie
tough little engine, she didn’t want to die out
2:47 That was scary, the inside of the car blew up when the engine did.
Man no wonder it blew! You were low on rocks , you were low on gas ,you were low on oil, and it didn't have any coolant! Atleast it went peacefully
Hey, I've laughed tears 😀 👍! I'm an old german man, but sometimes I'm 16.
Glad I could give you a laugh from across the pond!
@@VWBrianVW I am depressive (not because of Covid only) and alone and if I see these car destruction vids, I see the things I've done in my youth. The most - äääh sorry, but my last english lesson was been more than 40 years ago - the most amazing thing I practized with my friends was a wrecking down an old farm house. With two times police visit or catch. But I was 13 years, too young to jail in Germany.
Later when I was a young addult, I prefered to participate in car accidents during doing party. I had appetite for destruction long before Axl Rose was in school ...
@@nomoregears at least you have the memories! We all settle down with time but while the wild times may fade, memories are forever!
That beeping noise sounds like the heart monitor going crazy at 150 BPM
2:48 the heater core was like "I can't take it anymore"
I feel like that ending should be a Das Auto meme
Someone actually made one of it. Haha
Jfc man I thought a bomb was dropped on the damn thing lmao, good video.
Your engine light is on mate
Not drive now
Aside from the engine I'd bet that cabrio is in better shape than mine lol
nichijou56 find out for yourself in my video showing how the car currently sits. It didn’t get junked or anything.
Pretty sure could be because you ran out of fuel? Put fuel in and cycle the pump a few times, should be good to go!
Nah it locked tight. We pulled the pan before this and found a handful of bearing material and after this there was a nice window in the block. Lol
@@VWBrianVW hm sure it wasn't bad gas?
@@ethanmccrory1727 lol it had enough to start up when the new engine went in and drive 2 miles to a gas station.
When the engine quit not only did the freakin heater core explode but the time changed to 1:30 lol
Never seen the temp gauge move in real time
this is the engine revenge
that temp gauge rose quick
this engine was done for anyways so, it had to go with a bang
I think it ran out of fuel
I asked my mechanic friend if I could blow up a car in need of a new engine but he didn't like the idea unfortunately lol. I seriously want to do this atleast once to a car with a bad engine before swapping it
2:44 Time bomb will set off in....
2:47 bruh sound effect plays due to the cars death

_heater core has left the chat_
Was that a Mk3 cluster on a MK4?
No 3.5 cabrios had a Mk4 style front end but mk3 everything else.
Was für ein tolles Motoröl
And that is what you get when you mess with Herbie's cousin
Looks like the heater core took a dump on you.
Temp:
3 0 0 ° C
that is fahrenheit on the dash
Why did you do this? I'm just curious 😀
It needed a new engine and I wanted to finish the old one in a fun fashion. Lol
@@VWBrianVW Ok. That makes sense
What is this?
Your out of fuel!
Weggman Hillard haha yeah it was nearly out. Haha. Car is swapped and running again now.
ending is a payback 😁😀
Wow.
Obviously you ran it out of fuel!
Imagine that happened to someone while they're driving
It could theoretically happen. All it takes is some extra heat and a weak heater core.
R.I.P engine
Volkswagen, Das Auto.
Car was like your turn lmaooo😂
0:50 2000 dodge avenger chime due to the rocks being on the engine
What caused the smoke pouring from the inside of the car?
It was steam from the heater core exploding under the dash. It's from the extreme heat and pressure.
Why would you put rocks in there?
It helps polish the insides of the engine
“Is that fire”😂
207,000 MI it might blow
2:48 Wärmetauscher platzt.
Even machines deserve a revenge to those who are cruel and abusive to them lol
rip heater core
Heathercore broke, waterpump stopped, water really hot... BENG steam.
Was that the heater core that blew up?
Yeah it was. Luckily for me, it was on the passenger side. 😂
That didnt take much... was just watching hondas redline with no oil for like 15 mins straight and start back up. 🤣
2:47 🤣🤣
if i got scared from that i know u got terrified or something
This man just put road confetti on the engine
Golf IV with III Interio ??? :O
Things like this makes me surprised poor maintenance actually break engines. What's a little dirty oil gonna do if you can go full fuck for 3 minutes with rocks in ze delicate machinerie?
Yeah I agree and this was with one with an entire handful of bearing material already in the oil pan. Lol
the car is saying "wait no, stop what are you doing"
*panicky German screaming*
And the Battery Light is on
Steamy windows.
good ending
Ok that was good Thumbs up!! :)
Con el anbre k ay en el mundo semejante pallasada
It ran for over 200,000 miles with the previous owner never changing the oil?
The previous owner was severely negligent. Luckily it runs fine now
@@VWBrianVW I'm surprised it ran that long though without oil changes
2:46 alright bro
imma blow out
You still got this car because I need parts
Unfortunately no. It got a new engine and was sold a few months ago.
Car is like oh yeah wait there one sec.
those engine engine last forever if you maintain them
Agreed. Sadly the previous owner lacked in that. New engine is going strong though. 👍
that was epic
Revenge from VW
What happened? Ik the engine locked up but what exploded in to smoke
The heater core exploded from the extreme pressure and heat
it already has a broken connecting rod
Don’t try this at home
What happened? I didn't understand why the dash exploded
The cabin heater uses the same fluid as the engine coolant
The engine got insanely hot doing this
the engine running at max speed meant the coolant was also under very high pressure
The moment the engine died and stopped, the coolant flow completely stopped suddenly, so the insanely hot coolant in the cabin heater under huge pressure suddenly has nowhere to go
You have TikTok, I want to share the vid
I don't, sorry
Co to miało być?
LOL the temp needle at 1:55
It actually just ran out of gas it's fine again now.
Typical VW heater core.
poor thing it wasnt leaking anything was it
well rip aba
but it didnt sound too healthy to begin with
It wasn't. We went to change the oil and found that the oil pan was full of bearing material so it got sent. New engine runs great in it now. 👍
@@VWBrianVW nice
A fine piece of junk
How’s the car now?
Doing well. I threw in a new engine and it later got sold. It's still out running around. 🤙
@@VWBrianVW Oh ok! Great to hear :D
@@lucascarreviews there's actually a short walk around of it a year after this video on my channel.
@@VWBrianVW I’ll go check it out!
